My heart is so full! We got to finish the last of the Itai/Kido family weddings of 2024! It’s been such a pleasure to be the wedding coordinator for these three couples over the past year. They make it so easy for me to love what I do. I truly enjoyed being your “family wedding coordinator” 💖

Made it into the history books for first ever “indoor ceremony” 😅🤪

In all seriousness, when the rain started to come down, I mean it poured for hours, the timeline pretty much went out the window. We constantly pivoted to ensure that S+O truly got what they wanted out of their special day. I was so happy that in the end my team along with the amazing team at Kaimea was able to get this second arch up in record time and we got this super special intimate indoor ceremony. Seriously could not have done this without a rockstar vendor team!

PSA to Pet parents! 🐶🐱 If your venue allows, you can totally have your pet walk down the aisle with you and be there on your special day.

Make sure you have someone who can take care of them before and after the ceremony. Depending on the venue, you may need designate someone to bring home your pet after ceremony so make sure to make those arrangements ahead of time!

Meet Rachel!

Rachel definitely has golden retriever vibes in the best ways! She’s never had something negative to say in the many years that I’ve known her and literally can make friends with anyone. Her positive and upbeat personality really helps me push through some of those long wedding days and I so appreciate that about her!

Another thing about Rachel is she’s so good at creating content! A lot of the reels that you see on my IG is because of her. If you ever need some branding content, hit her up for sure 😁

Meet Taylor!

Taylor and I have known each other for over ten years from through paddling. She’s a social butterfly who knows a toooon of people and is the kind of person who would come up and say hi to you even though she’s only met you once.

She has been super great at being the one who handles the not so glamorous job of telling people what to do on wedding days (something I honestly really don’t like doing). Taylor’s also one of my best friends and I am super grateful to have her on my team 🫶🏽

Meet Kayla!

Kayla helps me on the day of weddings and is amazing at it! She is the most selfless person, always putting others before her wants.

Kayla and I went to high school together and met through paddling and we’ve been great friends ever since.

I love that she’s down to go to concerts with me even though it’s on a week night and she’s my drinking buddy on holidays. Kayla is basically my sister since she attends all our family gatherings 😂

I love her to pieces and I know everyone who comes across her will too ❤️

Hello, I’m Shelby!

Since it’s my birthday (in Japan time), I thought I’d take my turn introducing myself 😅

I wear many hats in life and wedding planner is one of my favorites. I’ve always wanted be a wedding planner since high school.

My life revolves around my daughter, Kelia. She keeps me busy with sooo many activities.

“I’m tired” is probably the words that come out of my mouth the most.

I’m really horrible at planning out my own life but great at planning other things.

I hardly watch American TV. I spend my time watching anime and K dramas.

I love everything and anything Disney. Disneyland is my happy place ❤️

Meet Nicole!

I first met Nicole when we both worked at Lappert’s in Maui. Almost 10 years later, she moved to Oahu to pursue her career and were still besties! Nicole is such an artist! It’s amazing how she can draw and do crafts and they’re ALL so beautiful. She even added flowers to a wedding cake AMAZINGLY when asked with no experience whatsoever. Safe to say, when it comes down to details she’ll execute flawlessly. ✨
