Sugbahan sa Dalan in GenSan
Sugbahan sa Dalan is a one of the Biggest Grilled Tuna Party which celebrated in General Santos City on the month of September. This will be a night of merrymaking and thanks giving for the city’s thriving fishing industry and every one is invited to come and taste grilled tuna. there will still be public grilling stations where grilled tuna will be available for free.

Sugbahan sa Dalan is one of the crow-drawer events in the year 2018 Tuna Festival in General Santos City “Tuna Capital of the Philippines”. The city also holds the Guinness World Record for the “Largest Fish Display in the Philippines”. Many people went to Sugbahan sa Dalan to witness the celebration and to taste also the best grilled tuna belly, panga and buntot from all species of tuna.

Aside from tuna, the crowd were treated to free grilled seafood, meat, and other delicacies that were contributed by local fishing companies and government agencies.

Tuna Float Competition in Tuna Festival
Tuna festival has been held annually in General Santos City since 1998. The colorful festival is traditionally held in the first week of September, the locals showcase the rich wealth of the province with colorful and different water products themed parades and it's the time when everything tuna is celebrated. Which makes perfect sense, for the largest producer of sashimi-grade tuna in the country. this is the best place to go if you want to know about the diverse quality of fish in the city. You will also be able to interact with the local people of General Santos City and learn more about it. This holiday includes a fish dish cooking challenge where you will find a variety of cooked fish.

The Whale Shark Festival in Donsol was the first non-religious festival the Philippines ever had. I'll bet the Tuna Festival is the second and aptly scheduled within the 40 days of Lent or Kuwaresma – when religious Catholics abstain from meat and eat only vegetables and fish on Lenten Fridays. General Santos City is the TUNA CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES, that’s why it is celebrated by the people there. They are rich in fishes, and they also serve the best quality of fishes.

If you want to taste their products, you can go visit General Santos City directly. The foods there are amazing. The also have other products there like, RDEX Shrimp products, Kablon Farm Products, Truly Dried Fruits, Benevita coco sugar and coco nectar, Marinated flying fish, and Cresing's food products. General Santos City serves the best and quality foods.
