Introducing Madalyna!!! 🍾 Our newest bartender goes by Lyna for short. She was born in Leon, Guanajuato but was raised her whole life in Fremont, OH. She is a mother, a good friend, a fun co-worker, a skilled bartender but most importantly a very loving person. Since a child she has always had a passion for art, exploring, and making people smile and feel good. As she got older she took interest in jobs where she could be around and help people. 🍹 It started with customer service jobs, then to serving jobs and as she gained more experience and started exploring different restaurants she came to admire the bartenders she worked with. Lyna says she loved the connections she would watch the bartenders make with guests, watching them craft together these fantastic cocktails, and bring joy to so many people. To hee, it was more than just “pouring a drink”, it was an art, not just making it look beautiful but making it taste amazing. It meant building personal relationships with my customers, and having the ability to make a positive impact on their day. Lyna knew right away she wanted to be apart of that. At the age of 21 she started my first bartending job and since then have worked in a variety of locations from your local dive bar, to classy sophisticated restaurants, to privately bartending for special events and gatherings. She is very passionate about what she does and loves that she gets to combine all the things she enjoys into one career! As of today she has had 4 years of bartending experience, with certifications in TIPS, ServSafe, and more. She is excited to keep expanding my knowledge, skills, and experience and continue furthering in my career. We are so excited to welcome Lyna to the Affinity team!
