4 years & 8months ago, our Post Office was going to close.
After a town meeting, 11 shareholders stepped forward & formed a company to buy the business with the sole aim of keeping the PO open & finding a new buyer that would be as passionate about continuing the service as we are.
Tomorrow that goal becomes a reality when the 26th Bridgewater Postie (since 1868) takes over the reins.
Thank you to you, our amazing community, for your support through some particularly challenging times, including me learning the ropes, covid & floods. I will miss your friendly faces, stories & updates.
We wish Kylie & Chris Hetherton every success with their new venture & know you will support them as you have us.

We can't contain our excitement for Easter this year at Bridgewater Caravan Park! We have live music Saturday Arvo with Ally, then again Sunday arvo with AngusKaftan. We have our very delicious Asian Street Food Easter Sunday and Easter Monday Dinner! 😋 We also have Boss Empire serving our guests Dinner Good Friday and Easter Saturday! Even though Easter is fully booked, we still have plenty of availability from Easter Monday onwards
