It's been a while since I've posted as I have been super busy supporting my clients with their business admin and event planning. To celebrate their 5th summit, RAREsummit21 will gather 300 of the greatest minds in rare disease and will look back at the progress and achievements across the rare disease landscape over the last 5 years.

Event management from planning to post event reporting. Venue sourcing, logistical support, programme development, promotion, reporting and more.

Did you know that an event planners job is up there with the top most stressful jobs?!

Good job I love it and its one of my specialities then!! Outsource your event management and leave the stress behind!

VA Advent day 8 - what can a virtual assistant do for you?

Creating and updating webpages - editing content, replacing images, formatting and more using a variety of platforms. I personally have experience in Wordpress, Wix and Umbraco content management systems.

Having an up to date, current and professional looking website is essential if you want to attract interest in your product or service, but it can take up so much of your time. Outsource this to a VA so you can be more productive and focus on other important tasks.

VA Advent day 5 - what can a virtual assistant do for you?

Writing social media posts - keeping active across your social media platforms and posting regular updates is important to maintain good presence but it takes time.

A virtual assistant can write posts, research hashtags & keywords and source appropriate images. So you can rest assured that you're staying active on social media but have the time to focus on other important tasks.

Email management - manage your inbox, field enquiries, respond to emails, schedule reminders and meetings.

You know that horrible feeling when you arrive into work, open your inbox and see the alarming number of new emails to reply to and your day is already jam packed? Hiring a VA for a few hours a week can eliminate this for you and enable you to be more productive.

VA Advent day 2 - what can a virtual assistant do for you?

Financial admin - creating and sending invoices, issuing statements, chasing payments, managing bank accounts, paying expenses, preparing VAT returns and updating finance software.

Essentially, all those time-consuming stressful finance jobs - you know you've got a bunch of invoices to send, but you've just got an important call with a client and don't have the time!

Many organisations are switching to virtual or hybrid events due to the COVID-19 pandemic and not being able to hold large gatherings. I'm currently supporting RAREfest20 - a rare disease festival organised by Cambridge Rare Disease Network which is using the vFairs platform - it's been great to learn a new online platform and I'm really looking forward to RAREfest20 on 28th November!
