This all happened on a Friday night in San Francisco!

Started off watching Adam Spry play a kilowatt and killed an acoustic. Highly recommend checking his music out and purchasing the LP.

Then caught a car crash by Waymo, the self-driving car. Everyone is ok but there were lots of people injured.

Before I called it a night, I danced to house music spun by Lucas and Dylan at Bergerac.

Eat more chicken!!!

I had a late lunch after my DJ gig at Napa Valley College Colleg yesterday and got this fried chicken and Mac'N cheese from How You Mac'n. As soon as I got home, I wolfed the whole thing down. It was so good. If you're ever up in Napa make sure to stop by the food truck.

From the first time I met JamJar during the pandemic to being here at the 6th JamJar show, the journey has been nothing short of amazing.

Dear friends and music enthusiasts welcome to an extra special episode of Vibe CNTRL Radio. On Monday 10/25, I celebrated a major milestone as released the 50th episode of Vibe CNTRL Radio!

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to my friends, my family, and the amazing BFF.FM family for their unwavering support.

Hosting this show has been a remarkable experience because it's opened up so many doors I couldn't have imagined. From spinning tunes at local bars to my very first festival gig, to sharing precious moments with my family members. Additionally, with countless exciting opportunities on the horizon.

I'm truly thankful for all the moments, and all the music we shared, and to all of you who have joined me to mark the 50th episode of Vibe CNTRL Radio!

On Saturday, October 21st, I had the absolute honor and pleasure of documenting the incredible energy and talent at the "Nothin' But KiiNNECT" event. Nigel extended the invitation, and I couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of this unforgettable gathering.

This event was a coming together of the Bay Area's most brilliant creatives, entrepreneurs, and leaders, creating an evening filled with inspiration and connection. From live music performances that had us dancing to interactive art workshops that ignited our imaginations, it was an experience that engaged all our senses.

A massive shoutout and heartfelt thanks go to the organizers and all the incredible contributors who made this evening so dynamic and vibrant.

It's been a while since I posted, so here's my summer recap from 2023!

Started strong with a two-day recording with Helen St. MixR, hosting my 3rd guest DJ at BFF, spinning and eating some bomb spaghetti, and after a long hiatus watching my friend's band take the stage. Celebrated my mom's bday, hosted my baby cousin on my radio show, and finished off celebrating one more bday with another great friend who I haven't seen in years!

The holidays are in full swing, but can we talk about the rain leading into this last weekend? Are you celebrating or whining down and cozying up?

My weekend was jam-packed! Between dinner parties, catching up with friends, and attending the Jam Jar Jingles show. Let’s say, that show was incredible. I thoroughly enjoy the jam jar events - from the marvelous people, live music, and fancy cocktails. We spent the night dancing and listening to four incredible local “jazz” bands.

So today’s episode we’ll listen to some Bosa Nova, Cumbia, and other tracks relative to Jazz. I’m dedicating today’s show to the Jam Jar gals Eva, Becca, and April.

Last week, I noticed a bunch of y'all were posting flyers of your Instafest. A Spotify-generated post that showed you a Coachella-styled festival lineup from your top Spotify artists. That gave me the idea to create an entire this weeks radio show. ⁠

Last year my buddy was hosting an outdoor DJ party in Golden Gate park. I challenged myself to search high and low for African Disco, Soul, and Funk music. ⁠I knew African music made its way from Africa to South America, which has influenced generations all over the world. I ask myself if would it be possible that the influence of African American music influenced modern African music during its time. ⁠

I was bewildered at what I found! The playlist you're hearing is multiple days of digging and researching the history of disco in Africa. I hope you enjoy this episode because I had a lot of fun putting it together for you.⁠

Took a break on 10/3 because I celebrated my 14th year of living in San Francisco. I was born in Oakland and raised all over - from Tacoma to a small city near Baltimore. When I turned 18, I moved to SF looking to build a future for myself, and over time I did that. I started working at the Virgin Mega Store on Market while attending school to become an Audio Engineer. Audio Engineering turned to photography and shortly after filming live sets for bands. Throughout the years I met a ton of talented individuals which brings us here today. ⁠

Today, instead of playing the typical show of funky tunes, and melo R&B vibes, I want to feature some of the bands and groups I’ve been able to work with throughout the years.⁠
