We had a great time celebrating Mr. & Mrs. DeBoer last weekend! The decorations were beautiful and we enjoyed seeing family and friends from years past. Julene and Terry know how to throw a great party and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Jennifer Birchen and Scott Kenyon had a beautiful June wedding. The decorations were perfect including the cow ribbon...which I loved! This was our first time hosting food trucks at the barn. Rustic Oven Woodfired Pizza and Headons Fine Meats did an amazing job. We also welcomed back the ice cream trailer from Cafe 217 which is always delicious. It was a great day on the farm that included a bubble path from the barn and photos with the cows.

We were honored to host the wedding of Erin Amendt and Jacob Brucker this past weekend. It was a beautiful wedding that included many memories from the past. We purchased our farm in 1994 from the estate of Walter and Rose Amendt who were Erin's great-great- grandparents. The farm had been in the Amendt family since 1903. I am sharing some of those past memories in my post. This wedding will always hold a special place in our heart and we are happy we were able to to be a part of the Amendt family's celebration. ❤️

We are a working farm and when we aren't hosting weddings we are busy caring for cattle. It is currently calving season so you will see many calves running around the pastures enjoying the beautiful weather!

The barn received some maintenance work recently including replacing the lights on the silo, power washing the roof, and replacing the 60+ year old evestroughs/gutters. Thank you Professional Power Washing Services (Lena) and Freeport Seamless Gutters for doing such a great job.
