It’s been quiet around here but China Bonita has been making a lot of noise behind the scenes. Without further ado, I’m excited to introduce our line of Disney inspired & Horror movie Halloween earrings. I’ve sold earrings in the past and have dreamed of branching out to make my products available online. The time came to finally stop talking about it and begin doing!!! With a push from my colleagues and family I was able to launch our fist online store through ETSY and now some of our products are available online. Since launching ETSY we’ve shipped all over the nation. Progress is steadfast as we continue to grow making our products available online and in store fronts in San Antonio. People are put in your path for a reason, I believe that with 💞.

I met Veronica on ETSY. She didn’t have many sales but she had what I was looking for. I reached out to her and asked if she could create some items for me and she jumped at the opportunity. She came through 💯 !!! She makes the beautiful bow charms donned on our headbands and her product has elevated our headbands to new heights. It’s the piece I never knew I was missing and needed. 🫶🏼

The success of our headbands have kept her busy with one order after another. She claims we rekindled her passion for her clay creations and I cannot thank you all enough. We’ve yet to meet in person but we’ve exchanged many many conversations and I feel connected to her through her art.

May is Better Speech 🗣️ and Hearing 👂 month so I thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Bonnie and I’m a Speech-Language pathologist who specializes in adult/geriatric population. I am born and raised in San Antonio and attended OLLU for undergrad and graduate school. I spend my days in our hospital systems, at Methodist, Baptist, Audie Murphy and recently at University. My skill set is helping restore patient’s ability to communicate and eat again following a medical event. Sometimes we are not able to restore communication or swallowing at which time we have to have a tough conversation with patients and their families about what the next steps are. We use technology in the exams we preform to help make these determinations.

I am extremely proud to be a first generation college graduate and I receive the greatest pleasure from taking care of our community, our veterans and #1, my parents. 🏆

It’s been a pleasure getting to meet you all through pick ups and Fiesta events.

One of the organic connections I made this Fiesta season was with Monsi Contreras, owner/founder of Vida Mia Boutique, which if you’re not already following you should or you’re missing out.
