A quick life update for ya:

We have been blessed with a healthy baby boy that we are expecting this October! 🩵

Summer weddings have wrapped up and I am slowing down to prepare for maternity leave and the holidays with my family and our newest member. 👶🏼🦃🎄

Fall 2023 preservation orders are scheduled to be completed by the end of August! As a reminder, these orders take 6-9+ months. It’s just the nature of the project. I am not able to work on them daily, or sometimes even a week or 2 at a time. Unfortunately, that’s just my life’s schedule and what works for me. Good news is, you will have the pieces forever!

I am open to booking weddings for 2025! 📆
It will be here before you know it. I can offer fresh bridal flowers (for the wedding party), silk arrangements, decor, and linens. I am not equipped to offer full service, meaning fresh flowers (bridal flowers, decor, and arrangements). As always, let’s talk and we can make your vision come true!

I am always open for memorial arrangements, silk cemetery arrangements, etc. (Except on maternity leave) I will have one last round of fall orders in September but please message if you need something custom.

Today I felt like sharing some pics of my wedding flowers because to be honest….there have been very few days in the last 5 years that they have not crossed my mind. 🌟💐

On that topic, last year I really started diving into the art of flower preservation to save these beauties beyond their {typical} 1 day lifespan. And it has truly become one of, if not, my favorite facet of the floral industry. There is so much blood, sweat, and tears that go into the process of bringing flowers to life- literally and figuratively! & those flowers serve as a representation & symbolization of your event for years to come, whether it be a wedding, funeral, shower, memorial, prom, etc.

Keeping flowers alive through preservation has brought me more joy than it does arranging them. There, I said it! 😱
But now, not only do I have pictures of my flowers to reflect on, I have physically have them to hold and see everyday as decor and art pieces in my home. 🤍

Pictures to come of my resin, shadow boxes, and pressed pieces because y’all know photography is not my strong suite 🤪
& preservation is a very lengthy process!! It takes weeks and days for each step…and there can be many steps in every piece. Especially the resin! And I only get time here and there to work on these, which makes it more challenging.

How fulfilling it has been to bring love to your loved ones. ❤️
This holiday season has been unlike any before now that we have our angel baby, Knox. Our conversation was always, “baby sibling will be born around Christmas!” So this year there is sorrow but there is also happiness. My heart goes out to the families that have loved and have lost this holiday season. ❤️❤️

And thank you for completely selling me out of these arrangements! I will be extra stocked for this spring.

October is ‘Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.’ I never knew this until August 29, but I know far too many women who have this in common. No matter your loss, it matters. And your baby’s life matters, every single day of it.

I needed a pick me up this week and have been trying to think of a way to “celebrate” our relation to this cause. Fresh cut orange tea roses, just like at his memorial, felt perfect. Flowers are not a way that Knox and I would have probably bonded with here on Earth, but I see his beautiful life in them. 🌹

Preserving your wedding bouquet can be one of the best decisions you ever make! It’s a simple reminder of the best day of your life, every day!

This bouquet was hung dry, preserved in silica gel beads, and mounted in a 16x20 shadow box. Last picture shows the bouquet on the bride’s wedding day. Maroon flowers always dry into a deep, romantic burgundy color. 🖤

Hi, I'm Ashlyn & I am the one that creates all the things! 😁
I have been a flower girl from the start, thanks to my mom always posing me next to flowers in all the pictures and my grandma teaching me everything she knows about the flowers in her yard. 💐
I found my love and passion for the wedding industry in college during my internship at the Corner House B&B. With the most amazing mentor, I knew then that this is what I wanted to do. 💒
I first chased my lifelong dream of being a flight attendant and traveled the world for a few years. Becoming a mom quickly grounded me and has led me back to where I am now with weddings. In all my projects, I have a very cute assistant that typically wants to just keep the flowers for herself, an angel baby looking over me, and a husband that doubles as the biggest cheerleader. ❣️
