Day 11. This tree isn't painted- this is its actual bark. This is the rainbow eucalyptus, Eucalyptus deglupta, native to Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and the Philippines. It is the only species of Eucalyptus that seems to prefer life in the rainforest. Isn't it absolutely stunning? Let me know if you have a favourite tree you would like me to feature. 🌍💚

I’ve just published my recipe for Foragers Hearty Pasta. You only need to forage for simple ingredients - nettles, hogweed and a little wild garlic if you can find it. If you’re new to foraging, this one is for you.

Garlic mustard, a Hedge Wisdom favourite. This plant has it all: it's easy to find, all parts of it are edible (and very tasty) and it is also very beautiful. In addition to all that, it is also an important food plant for the caterpillars of orange-tip butterflies. What a generous plant!
