I've noticed on my last couple of events that people like to post/comment about wanting to resell tickets. These are, more often than not, scams. I try to delete these as I see them, but my notification system isn't perfect and I do miss them sometimes.
I discourage you from indulging these posts at all, but if you are at any point considering taking someone up on their offer, remember to take measures to protect yourself. One great measure to take is to message me to confirm that the person has tickets. For privacy reasons, I will never volunteer any order information, but can say yes or no to verify the validity of another person's claim.
If you genuinely have tickets that you won't use, please request a refund on Eventbrite before trying to resell them yourself. As long as there is time to potentially resell the tickets before the event, I am generally accommodating when it comes to refund requests, and this is much easier for everyone involved than a private resale.
