Did you just get engaged? Ready to make your dream wedding come true?! 👰💍🤵
I am a Virtual Wedding Assistant, where I can assist in tackling some of the most tedious and sometimes stressful parts of wedding planning...and I can help via Zoom, phone or email. 🙂 Does this sound like something you or a bride you know might need?
I have 10 years of wedding/event planning experience in the San Diego area. I have worked at The Lodge at Torrey Pines as well as the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines as a Senior Catering Manager. I understand the ins and outs of contracts, vendor agreements, setup of ceremony and reception spaces, audio visual, timelines, catering, etc. Yeah, you tired yet, just thinking about it? Lol.
Here are the following services I can provide to help you or someone you know, stay organized for the big day. 🙂
**Vendor Research
Finding a venue is the first step in planning a wedding and it can be very time consuming and overwhelming. I have 10 years experience in the wedding/event planning industry in the San Diego area. I would do a free 30 minute virtual call with you to get a feel for the type of budget and venue you are looking for. Then I do the tedious part for you, of contacting possible venues/vendors and will provide a spreadsheet of possible candidates. 🙂
Once you have a place and the date, all other vendors, like photographer, day of coordinator, DJ, caterer, can start being booked too.
**Timeline Writing
A well thought out timeline is crucial to a smooth wedding. If you are only having a day of coordinator, then you are more on your own to handle this step and there are a ton of moving pieces that must fall into place.
Did you account for arrival, departure, set-up and strike times? What about hair and make up, ceremony, transportation, speeches, meal times? How about family photos and dance order? It can get overwhelming fast.
**Vendor Wrap Up Confirmations
Communication and organization is a very important element to executing a stress free wedding day.
I will contact all vendors to confirm the wedding day logistics. I will even copy your "GO TO" person (either a day-of planner or trusted friend/family member) on all communications so they are in the loop. This way every vendor knows who's in charge.
**RSVP Follow Ups
On average about 50% of people will not send in their RSVP on time. So. Freaking. Annoying. As if you didn't have enough to do. Who has time to call all those people and demand answers? I'm happy to do this task for you.
I will follow up with and confirm all outstanding RSVPs. You have more important things to handle. Let me track down Uncle Frank and find out if he's coming, so you can focus on you.
**Extra Touches Research
It is the little things like, finding the right invitations, bridesmaids gifts, favors, place cards, etc that make a wedding extra special.
I have some great resources to help research and provide you with ideas on how to choose what works well for you and your budget.
**Why Hire a Virtual Wedding Assistant?
You are getting help with some of the most crucial pieces of the wedding puzzle and at a fraction of the cost.
Hiring a wedding planner that will be your go to for all details can run you $2k to $5k.
With a VWA (Virtual Wedding Assistant) you can pick and choose which of the above services you need help with whether it's just with finding and securing vendors or it's with everything, you are spending between $200 to $800, depending on your needs.
Plus, given how important social distancing is right now, I can help via Zoom, phone calls or by unlimited email. :)
