We had a proper 90s rave at tonight for the laat night of the Other Voices festival. So lush to see many beautiful friends, old and new, including getting to see some of 's epic set in Mwldan 2 and Zoom dancefloor regulars and .

Sooo excited for tonight's GoldHill Disco! 1984 was such a big year for music, and particularly ties in with the time of year thanks to a certain Michael Jackson album, a film about four dudes catching ghosts, and Rockwell being a bit creeped out! It's really the year where we start to notice 'that 80s sound', being soon after the release of several key musical tools, including the infamous Yamaha DX7 synthesiser (watch any 80s TOTP clip from '84 onwards and you'll see how significant that synth really was!), and also the introduction of MIDI itself the year before which absolutely changed the way we approached making music to this day.
