POV: You want to purchase the perfectly thoughtful gift for your loved ones, who are expecting a baby.

Stop your search! I offer certificates that you can give to the expecting Mama and Dada, for a one or two hour video/photo session. I go to their home, and may or may not tell them how wonderfully they are doing throughout the entire shoot. If baby is upset, we take a little break. If Mama needs to nurse, we capture that precious moment of intimate closeness. Every shoot is different, and we ALWAYS go with the flow.

I think that being a semi-new to the game parent gives me the ability to connect with both parents and baby. In the end, that creates an incredible video, alongside a select few sweet photos.

When We Bought a Van

We’ve already received lots of comments about “living in a van, down by the river”, and we’ve responded with, “Yes! We can’t wait to live in a van down by the river.” But this journey started about five and a half years ago when we finished university, quit our jobs, and sold our house. We traveled throughout eleven countries over eight and a half months, touring Western Europe, Thailand and Laos. That first “Great Adventure,” as we called it, changed our lives and we knew then that travel wasn’t just something to do “before you get married and have kids”. No, we knew then that travel would be part of our lives FOREVER!

Now, here we are, a few months into marriage and it’s all about to happen again. EXCEPT, this time, we are starting the trip in the United States in a van that we are building out ourselves. After selling the van on the West Coast (we’re from the Midwest), we will fly to Panama then make our way down to South America. The finale of this journey will be in Eastern Europe, where we plan on falling in LOVE with the people, places, and most importantly FOOD, that the incredible continent of Europe has to offer! We hope that you’ll follow along as we spend our first year of marriage learning more about relationships, culture, and all things culinary.
