Last night at the Sip & Shop Market at Doghouse Studios, we showcased our new logo and introduced our event and planning services into our set up for the first time! As we transition our business, we hope you think of us to help make all of your special days beautiful✨🎀

It’s finally time for the long awaited reveal - The Homestead is rebranding!! Please welcome…

✨The Homestead Events and Planning ✨

This also comes with the introduction of a business partner which you may have seen on here before, my sister Claire! 🥳

We have always loved to get creative and go all out for all of life’s celebrations - birthday parties, baby showers, anniversary’s, bridal showers, weddings, or even the smallest little get togethers warrant for all out decor, table scapes, and food! Creating an “event” is something that we have always done and something that we consistently look forward to. The planning, the set up, alllllll the DIYs - we love it all! And we love the magic it creates to celebrate the people around us and make them feel special. 🥰🥰

So onto what we’ve created for you - The Homestead Events and Planning bridges all of our passions into a one stop shop for all things celebration! We will be offering:

💍 Wedding Rentals: including everything you need to create a beautiful scape, linens, arbours, and a few special items to give your event that “wow” factor!

📝 Event Planning: we will be announcing a variety of options for different event packages and budgets that will include planning, shopping, and the full set up and take down of all decor for your event! The perfect “one stop shop” for a birthday, shower, or celebration!

🧀 Charcuterie: duh! The Homestead roots will still be included moving forward with different charcuterie offerings for your events! This includes grazing tables, charcuterie cups, assorted boards, brunch boards, and more all suited to the size and style of your event!

🧁 Confections: again, the custom treats aren’t going anywhere! We would be happy to make a custom assortment for your event or even create the perfect individual favours for your guests!

We can’t wait to show you all of the amazing rentals and services we have to offer you and hope that you’ll continue to follow and support us on this new journey! The Homestead Events and Planning can’t wait to play a part in making all of your special days beautiful! 🤍

❣️ (new!) Assorted Treat Bouquet - includes 3 cake pops, 3 Rice Krispie pops, 3 Oreo pops, and 3 strawberry pops in any of the pictured vday designs! $30

❣️ Small Treat Bouquets - half a dozen of any of the treat pops listed above! $15

❣️ Smash Heart Bundle - candy filled chocolate smash heart with vday message and 6 chocolate covered Oreos or Strawberries! $50

❣️ Mini Boxes - 4 chocolate covered Oreos or Strawberries in any of the pictured vday designs! $10

❣️ Charcuterie for 2 - assorted meats, cheeses, and all of the fixings for a perfect Valentine’s Day date night! $40 for charcuterie only (limited boards are available at a discounted rate with this purchase - please inquire if interested)

Preorders will be open until Friday, February 10th at midnight so make sure to get your orders in before it’s too late! Payment will be required at the time of order and all orders will be available for pick up on Monday, February 13th in Kingston (unless otherwise discussed).

The biggest, hugest, absolutely joy-filled thank you to every single person that came out to today to support all of your local makers!! 🤍

This year has been so hard to balance with work, school, and a small business and all of the stress that comes with each. There has been so many moments filled with doubt and discouragement surrounding this little business and whether or not all of the stress and work was worth it. Prepping for a show this size is always scary because of the time, money, and effort that goes into it and it’s honestly hard not to question yourself and your products.

All of that being said, when I say that you guys showed up for me this weekend - I mean it. This show was truly one for the books and I can’t begin to tell you how much it means! My heart is so full of love, encouragement, and true appreciation for not only my customers (new and old!) but for all of my fellow makers that pour their hearts into their products and show up to form the sweetest and most uplifting little community that I am overjoyed to be a part of.

A special shout out to my parents who literally give so much time and effort into helping me create every single product I make, my sister for always being my go to gal, for my sweet cousin Kylie from for riding the highs and the lows of small business mayhem with me, and of course my hubby for being my biggest cheerleader and always being there to carry the heavy things! I truly love and appreciate all of you so much!! ❤️

Thank you again to everyone from the bottom of my heart for an amazing weekend and reminding me why I do this 🫶🏻
