Celebrating ‘s milestone birthday today!

Rachel, you’re a gem and a gift in my life! We’ve been friends for 10 years, can you believe it? From sonrise services on the Great Wall to Pad Thai on the streets of Kao Lak to the boogie high teas in Oxford, I’d say we’ve shared a good chunk of adventures together. Through it all you have been a faithful, awesome friend. May we be friends till we are too old to dance 💃🏻 and cheers to many more travels and adventures ahead of us!

10 years ago today changed my life: it was the day Joe and I met in Beijing! For those who know the story, it didn’t start well, Lol. But God had other plans😍😍😍
On one hand, I couldn’t believe its only been 10 years; it feels as if we’ve known each other all our lives. On the other hand, has it already been 10 YEARS?!?!? Lol. That’s our life. On the surface, it’s just another day busy with work and other things, but in my heart, I remember and I am grateful.
That’s why we stole time out to celebrate with ! 🍕 🍕 @ Winter Garden, Florida

Recreating Thai Mango Sticky Rice. YUMMMMMM!!! ..
Biting into that soft, sweet mango, my mouth coated with the creaminess of the sticky rice saturated with sweet coconut milk. Mmmmm...heaven on earth. Reminds us of our random excursions into the streets of Chiangmai, searching for street food stands that sells this famous Thai dessert. Kao Niu Muc Muang is how they call it, I think 😅..
Funny how food brings back memories. Do you have a food that takes you back in time?

So this happened yesterday. 😳 Kinda surreal, but it’s happening - she is growing up!!!
Btw, enjoy the smile in the pic. It may or may not have taken a full blown tantrum and possibly some unholy words out of my mouth to get her to put on her cap and gown for the pictures. Coz, what parent doesn’t want a decent photo of their child’s preschool graduation?

I don’t pretend to know God’s will, but I trust in His ultimate goodness. Ravi, we love you and are SO thankful for you and what you sacrificed for the Kingdom. My heart is heavy. Mommying has been hard for me, mostly because I am a selfish human being who just doesn’t want to give up my life for another. But it’s days like today that reminds me to be thankful, because God knew better than I. Despite my not-enoughness, failures and lack of faith, he gave me courage and strength to be this precious little one’s one and only momma. I am truly thankful...
