I'm a little annoyed I did the old logo but I still love it! I think I am doing Starbursts or Reese's next. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about I made a PEEPS marshmallow bunny pack first! It's almost 2 feet tall and I feet wide! Who got next? 😂

I thought all day about posting this and felt like it was much needed! So while I was setting up this morning I was in a rush. I had a meeting and was running a few minutes late and was power walking down the sidewalk after I realized the intersection was closed. I setup and snapped this picture and then realized I captured an act of kindness in humanity. You see this gentleman is well known in Downtown Concord. He's older and can be seen walking miles a day with bags in his hands. Today his pants seemed to be falling down. What you see is an employee who was doing part of the road construction taking off his own belt to make sure he had one. Now neither of them communicated in each other's language very well but being a kind human and showing love is universal. THIS IS CONCORD. Not the constant griping about construction, or lack of shopping or food options. It's our community and the steadfast belief we have to help our neighbors. Thank you for reminding me today, that we can always show love to someone in the intent ways possible if we seek to find them ❤️

One year. One year in a storefront location that survived construction, building a new program to encourage small business owners to utilize our downtown resources while providing a space they can sell products in my store has been nothing short of amazing. I am proud. 🥹 I truly can't thank .nc for taking a chance on me, and for being so welcoming. Here's to year 2 and many more exciting events and collaborations coming down the pipeline! 🌴 My name is Chrissy Santos and I own The Palmetto Market in downtown Concord, NC! I currently have 18 different small businesses with products in my shop in addition to my own! We will be celebrating our store's 1st birthday in 2 weeks!

🌴 We have everything from jewelry to, snacks, sauces and honey as well as candles and self care products! We also have children's books, stationary prints and accessories, apparel, pet accessories and more!

🌴 We also have several opportunities to create custom products through our patch bar (hats, beanies, zipper pouches, bags and more) our tee shirt bar (pick your print and we press in store) and coming soon our jewelry and charm bar where you can get custom pieces engraved on store and design your own charm bracelets and necklaces!

🌴 I currently teach small business classes at the Small Business Center and offer online one on one small business coaching for new businesses!
