100% of the profit/proceeds from our events are donated to our chosen charity. This means that the entire amount remaining after our costs of hosting is donated directly. We do not profit at all. All of our members are volunteers who donate their time to help assist us in raising as much money as we can! We buy our tickets at the same price as any other guests, too.
The cost of your ticket helps cover expenses such as our venue, bank/transaction fees, DJ/photography services, food, decor, and more. We work really hard to keep our costs low to ensure that as much as possible is being donated. Additionally, each event gives us the opportunity to work with amazing local businesses who donate their services in support of our endeavours.
During our events we also try to come up with fun ways to raise additional funds. For example, last year we had a silent auction, as well as a prom royalty ballot!
