My name is DJ Lorenzo Ross and I am a full time, five star rated, professional and experienced DeeJay who is "very detailed" and hard working. I am a very educated deejay who has a love and passion for music and people and that’s why I'm the best fit to be your deejay. Continue reading my wedding wire profile to learn more detailed information about me.
I have so much work experience and training related to my deejay career. The top three experiences include working at a record store as a customer service sales representative, hands on experience deejaying weddings, and going to college and gradutating with a 4.0 gpa degree in computer technology. All of these skills have helped me develop my deejaying talent to perform at the highest level of weddings and other events.
I have deejayed several weddings all across the country and met with a wide variety of different clients, cultures, and traditions. For starters, these clients include African American, Caucasian, Latin, Asian, Indian, and more. Working with a wide variety of clients has giving me the opportunity to learn so much about different cultures of music and wedding traditions. For instance, I once deejayed a really nice Jewish wedding and learned about their traditional cermeony custom. I also understand that working with so many different clients, I must be flexible when it comes to the music. For example, some clients want a deejay that mixes up the music in a wide variety of genres such as hip hop, RnB, country, Latin, pop, and rock. Some clients also want a deejay thats energetic, upbeat, and crowd engaging with the crowd and guest at the wedding. On the other, some clients prefer a deejay that primarily focuses on the provided playlist by the client and prefers not to mix it up. The key is to be an adaptible and flexible deejay whose able to relate to all cultures.
I have so much advice I would like to give to new clients and the beginning searching process for a deejay. The three main points of advice I want to share includes researching the deejays online information, having a plan of action, and communicating with the deejay. For example, researching the deejay means going online and reading the deejays wedding wire profile, personal website and social media site such as facebook or instagram or twitter. These online sources give you an idea of the style deejay that you will be hiring. Importantly, you will also have the chance to view the deejays pictures, videos, and read their past client reviews. To have a plan of action means writing down all the things you expect from your deejay on a piece of paper before you contact them. For example, your music playlist for specific moments such as the ceremony bridal party, and bride intro song, wedding date, time, venue location, and more. The final step of advice is to contact the deejay online with a detail message. Online contact with a deejay is a safe way to begin open communication. This can lead to trust, and once trust is etablished, then you can give the deejay your cell phone number and a good day and time for them to contact you and discuss the contracts and deposits.
Before I go into detail about the deposit and pricing for my deejay services, I just want to clarify that I deejay for the love of the art of music, and not the profit. I have two affordable deejay packages for you to choose from. The first package is only $700 and the second pakage is $1000 which includes an optional photo booth combination . The $700 package includes me deejaying the entire event such as the ceremony, reception and attending rehearsal. The package also includes me emceeing , hosting, and making announcements at the event. As a bonus, the travel fee, setup, and breakdown of all equipment is free.
My equipment includes two high quality PA professional sound systems. One of the PA sound systems is wireless and can be used for outdoor use where there are no power outlets. Additional equipment includes deejay lights, up-lighting, fog machines and a wireless mic. The wireless mic can be used by the officiant pastor at the ceremony to lead the event. It can also be used by the bride and groom to speak their vows. During the reception, the wireless mic can be used for the toast.
On the day of the wedding, I will arrive an hour before the event to set up. Because I will try my best to attend the rehearsal, I will already have an idea of where the venue is located and the location of the deejay setup. I have a deejay table already, and table covers to set my equipment onto. Once I set up, I will perform sound, lights, and mic checks beforehand. Once your wedding guest arrive, I will have guest arrival music playing. When the ceremony begins, I will use the recommended playlist such as bridal party intro, and brides song at that moment of arrival. Once the ceremony ends, there will also be a song dedicated to playing the ceremony aisle exit song as everyone leaves the ceremony location and prepares for cocktail hour.
After the ceremony, I will do the "cocktail hour" music. This music will keep your friends and family entertained up until the announcing of the big bridal party intro which I will use my wireless mics to make the announcements of the names of the bridal party. Next, I will use your recommended list to do the reception music such as the bride and groom first dance song, father-daughter, mother-son, toast, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss. After all the formal activities, the venue will be transformed into an exciting area for open dance floor. The wedding dance floor will be upbeat, energetic, and everyone will dance and have fun. There will be deejay lights shining and people dancing to a wide variety of music that has been created in a music playlist by me and you.
I have a huge selection of clean and edited music including hip hop, rock, pop, R&B, latin, country, and more. We will all get down and cut-a-rug up until the announcement of the last dance. At that moment the dance floor will be exclusively open for the bride and groom to dance and cherish that last moment of the night. The guest will then prepare for the send off celebration for the newly married couple. It will all end on a wonderful moment send off celebration.
In conclusion, I hope this detailed, in depth biography profile has helped you to understand and get to know me better as a dejay. I have provided lots of detail information about my experience, client interactions, and customer advice for researching a deejay for their wedding. With all that being said, I am an educated, fun, family oriented, and friendly deejay whose easy to approach and enjoy making people dance to my unique energetic deejay style. This is why you should hire me as your wedding deejay
