There is still many of these shirts available on the bus along with many other items!
For those of you who don’t know, we have Sam’s Farm Festival shirts for sale on The Bus Shop. Being a sentimental gal, I wanted to make sure the color of the shirts had meaning. As silly as it sounds one of the first things that came to mind when I saw the blue and green is Trident gum, something my dad rarely went without. Honestly, it would be one of the first things I’d say or ask him, “you got any gum dad?”. He usually had 3-4 different flavors but the original and spearmint flavors, or as we call them-the blue or green kind, were a staple in the front pocket of his shirt. And so there it was, blue and green t-shirts.
The yellow reminded me of the golden colors of harvest and the sunrise, both things indicative of hope, something I’ve held onto dearly the last nine months, and even more so over the last few weeks.
Not only do the shirts posses a little meaning, but all the proceeds go toward the Samuel K. Hoffart scholarship fund. So if you’d like a shirt that holds meaning while paying forward some kindness, swing into The Bus Shop during your next visit to the festival.
P.S. we have some exciting news to share about the scholarship and will also be announcing details on how to apply. Stay tuned 💛
