💜 To Ruth and Greg—A Love That Transcends Time 💜

Ten days ago, I had the immense honour of renewing the vows of these two soulmates. Twenty-five years of love, of knowing—truly knowing—each other. It was meant to be a Valentine’s Day celebration, but fate had other plans. Greg couldn’t quite hold on. And yet, he got his wish. With hands held, hearts full, and surrounded by those who mattered most, they spoke their vows once more. Promises renewed, love reaffirmed. The next day, Greg let go.

Today, we gathered not just to say goodbye but to celebrate Greg’s life. To laugh, to remember, and to reflect on a life well-lived. A life well-loved. Greg’s parting words were simple and sent a clear message: Don’t stand around idle. Get out there and embrace life. Follow and chase your dreams. Time waits for no one.

So, in honour of Greg, let’s do just that. Let’s love fiercely, live fully, and never take a moment for granted. Because if his journey taught us anything, it’s that love—true, deep, and unbreakable—never really ends.
