Story of a Family - oikos Family
All started in 1987 when students of the St Gallen University got together to inspire change and act instead of waiting for the change they wish to see in the world happening.... They founded oikos St Gallen.
Ten years later, the students decided to duplicate their model, so started oikos International.
Later on, some Alumni wanted to create an annual event where any community member could share their knowledge and meet back their fellows in an authentic way.
They created the St Gallen Unconference which took place for the first time in August 2019.
