Life’s short, and we sometimes miss the chances to share what your loved one means to you. Take the opportunity on your wedding day to share it with them in front of all your closest peeps!

Don’t know where to start?… I got you ✨

🤍 Make promises, the through thick & thin stuff! You can make this part fun too | ‘I promise to try and not shrink your shirts in the dryer’ …
🤍 A personal story or note is always nice
🤍 Don’t wait til the last minute, take your time. Make notes, drafts and don’t try and over complicate it.
🤍 Speak from the heart, say ‘I love you’

HELLO SUMMER ✨
The heat is coming.. or so we hope here in beautiful BC!

Here are some of my tips for my summer wedding clients …

☀️ Timing | don’t start your wedding mid-day, shoot for late afternoon or early evening. Take advantage of the longer days… golden hour ceremony? Yes please!
☀️ Stay Cool | going with breathable wedding party attire is key! Lighter toned suits, linens, less sweat stains.. need I say more.
☀️Hydration Station | keep your guests and wedding party well hydrated and cool with cooling stations & access to quick hydration areas around your ceremony & reception space!
☀️ SPF Baby | you’ve probably seen the cozy blanket baskets for winter weddings? How about try cute sunscreen & bug spray baskets for those summer months!

✨It sounds like my ‘Month of Coordination’ package is the one for you! Added bonus - your friends and family will thank you for it! Who else has fallen victim to setting up & taking down a wedding as a guest? Not ideal…

A quiet moment hard to find on your wedding day?

✨Try spending that first cup of coffee together out on your deck, or go for a morning walk (especially if you’re already at your venue, the morning calmness of a wedding day is truly serene)

✨Immediately following the ceremony take a few minutes (just you two) to have a moment - have a mini toast to your love and to being officially, MARRIED!! (🥂FYI - if I’m a part of your day I always have your drink of choice waiting for you in a quiet place!!)

✨Before that ‘Grand Entrance’ into your reception and while your guests settle and take their seats - find a quiet moment to take it all in!

✨Lastly, try and stick together throughout the day! Don’t let that chatty Aunt drag you away from your partner - and when you both get trapped..Look to ME 👋🏼- I’ll make sure to find a way to get you some private time!

✨With my first wedding of the season happening this week, it’s the perfect time for a little refresher! Here are some tips you may want to share with your partner and wedding party on what to do, THE NIGHT BEFORE the big day!

Getting these few little items done the night before will hopefully allow for more time for breakfast mimosas on the big day, am I right?? 🥂
