Last Tuesday was Ladies LEAD's inaugural Cocktails for a Cause event hosted at The George's speakeasy Hide Speakeasy!

What is Ladies L.E.A.D.? Ladies L.E.A.D. was started by six Rhode Island businesswomen looking to empower ALL women. No more gatekeeping the secrets to success — Ladies L.EA.D. are here to Listen, Educate, Advice and Develop.

Tuesday’s Cocktails for a Cause benefitted "Dress for Success New England” by collecting donations of womens workwear.

The The 401 Studio designed the nights step & repeat, and Buttercup The Flower Truck provided the stunning flower arrangements for all guests to take on their way out!

Kendra Scott Jewelry was en event sponsor too — donating 20% of sales to Dress for Success!

Bethany Anna Photography & Content Creation sponsored too, capturing these shots of our booth in action and the overall beautiful event thrown by Ladies LEAD!

Today we are proudly using our platform to support Black Lives Matter. We love you, stand with you and above all else we are actively listening and learning.

We’ve donated to:

Black Lives Matter in support of the movement to end state-sanctioned violence, liberation of Black people, and to END white supremacy.

NPAP, National Police Accountability Project. They are an organization that works toward public education of police misconduct, providing resources for community groups and their victims while supporting legislature reform efforts aimed at raising the level of police accountability.

NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. Their mission is to seek structural change and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.

Speak up + speak out. Please use your platforms for what really matters.
