Today we visited Carrick Knowe Primary School where Kirsty Baird Music from Hanley and the Baird and Chief Radio, Scottish Independent Station taught P6 guitar, piano, singing, percussion

Our music sessions in schools involve taking multiple instruments in, teaching them how to play them while utilising any instruments you have in school

We include singing, dancing in a fun environment
And then encourage art work for their newly formed band

The kids at Dean Park Primary School learned an Em chord and how to perform We will rock

Leith Benevolent Association gifted us some money so we bought some guitars and provided some free sessions in Leith (and other areas)

No child should go without regular music lessons in schools but some kids do.
We would not have the career we have now if music had fallen to such a low importance becoase of government or council funding.

Chief Radio, Edinburgh Station Sing in the City and Hanley and the Baird have funded these sessions and many other ones like it
