DJ Swing Out Mister Swing, Lindy and Jive DJ Been playing music for so many years - soul, rock and pop - got a chance to work at the Spiegeltent area in the long white Spiegelpub.

The best afternoons at the Spiegel are always the swing, lindy hop ones. And I got a chance to express my love of this great panoply of incredible music from the 20s to the 60s, what a melting pot. Fabulous people, amazing classic sounds and superb dance moves. Long live swing!

Looking forward to Friday night at the Brighton Railway Club - really have missed all you guys! Our trip to Memphis and New Orleans reminded us of some great old blues and swing classics we really should play for you - so we will!

See you Friday at 8pm and join Jim and Elaine at 7pm for our first dance class of the year!

Wow! It's almost time for our first Swing Thing at the Brighton Railway Club next Friday, 28 February.

Here's hoping you can join us for our beginners/improvers lesson at 7pm (with the lovely Jim and Elaine) followed by the social dance session from 8pm to 11:30.

Hear the greatest hits of swing, from Ella to Glenn, from Ray to Frank and enjoy a whole bag full of sing-along, swing-a-long oldies.

A message to all the lovely people that come to our monthly Jump n Jive session at the Brighton Railway Club.

Sadly we won't be having a J n J this month due to us being away and no sensible alternative date being available, so we'll see you all in February (28th February - more details to follow soon).

And due to there being a very similarly named gig at the BRC each month, we've decided to change our name for the coming year to avoid confusion.

So next time we see you it will be at the Railway Club for...

We couldn't have asked for a better start to the Spiegeltent month than this Saturday afternoon. The great Swing City in the main tent and then a total party vibe in the Spiegelpub afterwards. You were all awesome, but I particularly commend the committed couple dancing in the food queue at the back of the room - check it out! See you all on the 18th - same Bat time, same Bat Channel...

Thanks to all those hardy souls who braved the cold to join us at the BRC for the Friday Night Jump n Jive last night. And it might just pay off big time as you get discovered and launch yourself into a major film career - after featuring in a fringe documentary they were making at the club last night. They loved your moves! Andy Warhol, now there's a dude who knew what he was talking about...

Wow, how quickly does the last Friday come around each month! Looking forward to another Jump n Jive next week. Hope to see you all at the BRC on 26th.

I promised not to mention the C word until we were finally in the right month. Now December is here, cry havoc and let slip etc. We're looking forward to seeing you all at the Christmas Jingle Bell Jump n Jive on 22nd December at the Brighton Railway Club - and to get you in the mood...

Massive thanks to all that came along to our Jump n Jive last night. You were amazing. Fantastic dancing - and I must say, based on this video, incredibly well coordinated. Plus, the Brighton Railway Club looks a lot bigger on film than in real life - well they do say the camera adds 10lbs.

And the Jump 'n' Jive is off and running... with Benny Goodman into a bit of classic Elvis!
