Greetings cheese-lovers. After another stonking evening in Dunstable last night with Street Food Heroes we've been beavering away in the Mad Mac's kitchens today in readiness for the 77th Annual Pyrford & Wisley Village Show tomorrow. The ABBA tribute band last year were fantastic so we're hoping for more of the same from the Queen tribute this time round. Come hungry. MM😘

We're at our favourite boozer The Mermaid St Albans tonight to feed you all while you watch England destroy the Dutch. Last time we were there the pub was at capacity and we sold out so come early to avoid disappointment. Kick-off at 8, food from 5. See you there cheese-fans. MM😘

Busy weekend coming up cheese-lovers. FOR 2 HOURS ONLY we'll be at the Anchor in Bourne End this Saturday for a strictly limited 2 hour lunch service, ensuring everyone who comes down for the live music from 1pm - 3PM doesn't go hungry. We're catering a private party on Saturday night but on Sunday we'll be in Leighton Buzzard high street, 1pm til 4pm and we'll have limeted stock so come early!

We're at the Welwyn Garden City Food Festival rocking our delicious home made mac n cheese and halloumi fries, and as a special treat for you all we've got our special Philly Cheesesteak mac n cheese cooking up a storm. 11-6 today and tomorrow, WGC town centre. Huge thanks to Taylors Tools for inviting us to cater their off-road event last weekend. We had a blast feeding a load of oversized kids while they larked around in the mud on quad bikes. Bacon rolls, pastries, tea and coffee and of course our future-award-winning Mac n Cheese for lunch.

Did you know that a red and white cabbage are the same thing just picked at different stages of ripeness? Or maybe that's peppers. In the spirit of the generally accurate belief that late is indeed better than never, with the possible exception of a death row pardon, here's where we are this week.
For those of you able to defy science, you'll find us at Street Food Heroes in Welwyn Garden City yesterday. For the rest of you, next up is Flitwick Family Fun Day with Flitwick Town Council tomorrow from 12pm to 10pm in Millennium Park, Dunstable Road in, perhaps unsurprisingly, Flitwick. There's free stuff galore so come on down and enjoy the sunshine, the free fun fair and free open air cinema.
After a good clean and a reset we're at it again the next day, this time at the Bushey Performing Arts Festival in Mary Forsdyke Gardens in, you've guessed it, Bushey. 12 - 5. Be great to see you somewhere. MM😘

We're putting ourselves about a bit in June so chances are we'll be rolling into a town near you at some point. The weather looks good, we've doubled our fryer capacity so our wait times will be shorter and we're packing an extra cool box to keep us from selling out so there's no reason not to come and find us and put on a pound or two. We're back at our favourite pub, The Mermaid St Albans for 3 days this weekend, serving up our delicious homemade mac n cheese, twice-cooked double-joint chicken wings and possibly the best halloumi fries you'll ever eat for you to enjoy in the sunshine. This is an actual photo taken at the Coronation Event in Bishop's Stortford today. Thanks to the brave few who came out despite the weather and helped us all to just about cover our costs. The good news is that we know have loaaaads of delicious food ready to serve to you all at the screening of the Coronation concert tomorrow evening in Gadebridge Park, and the even better news is that the sun will be making an appearance. See you dudes tomorrow.

We have a saying here in the Mad Mac's kitchens - if it hasn't got cheese in it, what's the point? Or something like that, we've only just come up with it. Anyway, with this in mind, we're excited to report that starting this weekend we'll be offering our supremely popular twice-cooked chicken wings with blue cheese sauce, alongside our current staples of BBQ and buffalo. Catch us at Bishops Stortford on Saturday and Gadebridge Park in Hemel on Sunday and say you were one of the first. It's quite possibly the most exciting thing happening this weekend. Stay lucky cheese-lovers 🧀
