Last week we rescued these two kitties. Meet Cheeto Bopickleshanks (orange kitten) and Alice. They need some TLC and they have come to the perfect place for that! I think they are going to make great additions to the farm.
Otherwise, these zinnias, alstroemeria, rudbeckia and sunflowers were just too pretty not to use in the morning’s orders. 🥰😍

It’s that time of year here in Mississippi where only the very early mornings are hospitable in the gardens.
That’s if you are prepared for the left over spider webs, mosquitoes, and occasional snake. 😅
The surrounding air is bustling with singing birds enjoying the cooler air with me and the cicadas promising another simmering day ever so loudly! But for just a brief moment, the beauty and joy of the gardens lighten the soul, and I am grateful for this to be my start into the day.

We also have the last of our large sachets of fresh dried lavender available. $15
The lavender is culinary grade so you can use it as tea, on bread or cakes, in a bath, or in sachets for the incredible aroma (just a few ideas)

Our social media presence may get a little quiet for a week or so, but I promise we are still here and available!
I am incredibly busy behind the scenes preparing for the next big chapter of Fields for Ellie!
We are going to revamp some growing areas, we have to pull out and replant a hoophouse, update and build some infrastructure, get the rest of the year’s worth of flowers planted and start on planting out for next spring all while maintaining our current happenings. Don’t even get me started on the paperwork! 😱😅
So, bear with me as we work hard to get our farm and personal lives together 🤣 so we can come back stronger and with more products and markets than ever before!
