Writing your personal vows.. Where do you start?? For some people writing and/or speaking vows can be tricky!!
It is understandable you want to fit everything you are feeling into your vows but in reality, you just can’t include it all just focus on what is most important to you... And ask yourself the following:
•What you love about each other?
•How has your life changed since meeting a falling in love?
•What does love, and marriage mean to you?
Also think of your vows as shared promises to one another.
•You want your vows to be real.
•Show gratitude by highlighting all the wonderful things about each other.
•You can also go after laughter, the ability to make each other smile & even laugh out loud during your ceremony which I think is also great.

Yesterday I had the pleasure, officating the wedding of this awesome couple Ruth & Robert along side my new friend co-celebrant Will - celebrant in training

I officiated a wedding where the couple wanted to incorporate a Ritual in their ceremony with their children to represent their two families becoming one. The ritual they chose was a Candle Lighting Ceremony & it was a special moment for them all ♥️
"The centre candle represents the light of love & the light of new beginnings, the individual candles represent your lives before today. Lighting the centre candle represents your two lives are now joined to one light & the joining together of your two families to become one.
The brightness of the candle that your families have lit & the brightness of the unity candle, together will shine throughout your lives & may your love for each other light up your life as a family always."

I just recently married a couple who wanted a Handfasting Ceremony, which was a beautiful small personal ceremony that I was honoured to be a part of. Handfasting is an ancient marriage ritual, the ceremony involves a couple's hands being placed together and bound with ribbon or cord. It is from this
practice that we get the expression “tying the knot”.This symbolises their joining through marriage. Wish them both all the best in their future together as Husband and Wife ❤

Incorporating a ritual into your ceremony is a great way to personalize your Wedding, Vow renewal or your baby's naming day, as captured in this photo.. Bubbles.. who doesn't love bubbles. It is a perfect wedding send off and they will add an elegant yet playful touch to your event and look beautiful in photos just like this one taken by .
