As a photographer, I understand this might be a bit controversial, but I truly believe that having a dress code will significantly elevate your wedding photos. Don’t get me wrong - there’s absolutely nothing wrong with allowing your guests to wear whatever they want. But by, choosing a cohesive, neutral colour palette you can completely transform the look of your photos and videos, making all your guests blend seamlessly with your wedding vibe and décor. Implementing this can be as simple as including a colour palette card with your wedding invitations or posting one on your wedding website or Instagram. It doesn’t have to be overly complicated for your guests, either. By selecting five neutral colours that most people already own, you ensure that guests don’t necessarily need to spend money on new outfits. For this wedding our bride chose black, and a few different tones of grey, beige and brown & it turned out perfect 🤎🖤🩶🤍

Advice from a couple who have shot over 400 weddings between us, the only thing that matters on your wedding day is each other!
