Let’s talk about being camera shy…👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

It is totally normal to feel intimidated by being in front of a camera, but do you know why?

Chances are you’re over thinking it and causing yourself stress that you could have been avoiding. But how do we avoid it?

Movement is the secret ingredient to feeling more comfortable in front of a camera. Through the prompts your videographer and photographer give you, you’ll forget all about the camera and find the experience to be so much more fun and relaxed!

When you and your partner forget about the camera that’s when the best times and the best shots happen.The best thing to do during your couple shots is take the time to take in the whole day and be in the moment with each other.

So let’s focus more on running around making each other laugh and less on the camera.

Even if you decide just to have the theme as navy and pink this will still allow you to make the right decisions when planning and purchasing things.

Feeling confused or perhaps worried about how many bridesmaids you should choose to have for your wedding?

HOW MANY BRIDESMAIDS SHOULD YOU HAVE? 🤔

Let’s get straight to it, there are no rules about how many bridesmaids/bridesmen you should or shouldn’t have at your wedding. It all comes down to personal preference and the style of your day. Most couples have between 2-5 bridesmaids/bridesmen, but some weddings have 10 or more, averages really do vary.

Always go with what feels right and that fits with your budget. If you actually don’t want to have any bridesmaids/bridesmen, that’s totally fine.

We have filmed weddings that have all sorts of different bridesmaids/bridesmen sizes and guess what? All of these weddings were great, happy and filled with fantastic memories too!

Create A List of Wedding Day Priorities 🙌

The best thing you can do when starting to plan your wedding is sitting down with your partner and determine what the three most important aspects of your wedding will be. Is it the venue or a specific wedding date? Locking in a certain wedding photographer or live band? Prioritize those details and be willing to compromise on the rest. This will help you stay within your budget and help you focus your efforts on what really counts.

We understand weddings can be so expensive.. trust us we’ve been there! But there are some great ways to budget. Here are 4 tips:

1. Marry out of season or on a weekday. During the summer months wedding venues and suppliers tend to put there prices up due to the amount of weddings they get.

2. Have your ceremony and reception at the same venue.
This will help lower the cost a lot as you normally can get a good deal as you’ll be staying in the same location and won’t have to pay for 2 venues.

3. Don’t over cater.
Make sure you get the right amount for your guests, you could be paying for food that may go to waste.

4. Hit the sales and find some bargains.
You can find some great deals on suits, bridesmaids dresses & decor!
