It takes a lot of planning to be prepared for all of the activities that take place during a wedding ceremony and reception. The music must match the mood at every moment and the variety of announcements and songs must coincide with the variety of guests. The first and last hours of the reception are totally different. I know certain songs will pack the dance floor at 7:30 and others will work at 10:30. It's a completely different vibe.

Thanks so much Ally. Every wedding I do is customized to their wants and needs from the songs in ceremony, their first dance, the packed floor during throughout the reception, to the sparkler exit. I meet with every couple (and each vendor) multiple times to learn every necessary detail and make sure we are all prepared for the planned (and unplanned) moments.
Cornerstone Ranch is one of my favorite venues. There is so much versatility for the ceremony and reception (inside and out).

It is such an honor to be a part of so many weddings. But, when another wedding vendor chooses me, it's even more special. When one is from Colorado and the other is from Ft Worth, the logical choice is to meet in the middle for their wedding ceremony and reception. The fabulous group of vendors came together in Amarillo for a perfect night. If rain on your wedding day is good luck, then Allie and Tyler are all set.

I am very excited to announce that I have been selected as a 2024 ­­winner of The Knot Best of Weddings. This accolade represents the top local wedding professionals reviewed by couples on The Knot. This marks the ninth time DJ ENTERTAINMENT AMARILLO has earned this award. The Knot awards The Best of Weddings recognition in almost 20 categories.

Throughout this region (that includes Amarillo, Abilene, Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, El Paso, and Las Cruces), there were only two DJs that received the award. This is not an award won because of the number of votes, or by purchasing advertisements, it is 100% based upon reviews from couples that got married the previous year.

Sierra and Zack's wedding and reception is high on the list of most fun ever!. From the Star Wars / Disney ceremony at the to the non-stop party at Hodgetown. It was all so well planned out and all of their friends and family (from across the country) left with a night of memories. The food was fabulous, the favors were one of a kind, and the dance floor was packed all night.

A huge thank you to each of the couples who chose me to be part of the most important day of their lives in 2023. For many years, I've had a front row view to many weddings, but this was the biggest year DJ Entertainment has ever had. 2024 bookings are already ahead of last year's pace. There's no chance of slowing down yet. I can't wait to see each couple in the new year on the dance floor.

I work closely with every couple for weeks and months, leading to the biggest day of their lives. Each wedding is different, and I will prepare for whatever it's going to take for theirs to be perfect. That's much more than just the music I'll be playing for the ceremony and reception. It's the coordination with the planner, photographer, videographer, and caterer. It's the timeline of activities throughout the night. It's the lighting of the sweetheart table, cakes, and dance floor. I have one chance to make it all exactly as we have planned, and perfection is the ONLY option.

I love setting down with every couple to plan out each moment of their wedding ceremony and reception. Each event is very different, so I love hearing about their friends and family and what songs are important to them. Timelines, announcements, and songs from one wedding are rarely the same, so the consultation process is critical for me to be prepared every time.

I had such an amazing time working with Lauren and Trey to plan out the perfect songs for their wedding and the list of dance songs for the reception. Of course, any time I get to work at The Resplendent Garden , I'm going to bring a few extra lights to enhance the beauty that's already there. It was a fabulous night.
