White flowers symbolize purity, innocence and sympathy. When my mom died a few years ago, the client from work gave me beautifully arranged white flowers and that started my fondness for flower arrangement.

A friend requested me to make a white and green flower arrangement for her mom’s death anniversary and as usual I ended up with three more extra arrangements. I use up all the flowers and foliage so nothing goes to waste.🌷🌸🥀

A Wedding Anniversary is the anniversary of the date a wedding took place. With the current pandemic, some couples couldn’t celebrate their much awaited anniversaries with family and friends due to social distancing. I have been asked to make a flower arrangement for a 50th and 10th year anniversary even if they couldn’t celebrate with friends and I am glad the flowers made their day.

Along with the flowers came the cakes and my sister Pinky makes some really good cakes.

Left over flowers - I usually have lots of these after an order to make an arrangement and they never go to waste. I put them in the kitchen, dining table, living room or give them away. You can never have too many flowers. After all, flowers brighten up our homes...🌺🌹🌻

Roses are often associated with love and romance. There are over three hundred species of roses and let’s not get carried away by all those. Certain colors are said to have some special meanings and the most common ones are:

Red - Love, Respect, Courage
Yellow - Joy, Gladness, Freedom
Pink/Peach - Gratitude, Appreciation, Admiration or Sympathy
White - Reverence, Purity, Secrecy
Two Roses Joined Together - Engagement
Red and White Roses Together - Unity
