Opt for something guests can use that makes you laugh! It’s the end of the night, it’s not a time for seriousness it’s a time for joy and laughter so find an exit prop that brings you joy!

Plan a private dance just you and your hubby to enjoy those final moments of the wedding day while the planning team is wrangling guests into a lineup!

Get a hype squad! Kelsey and Tim’s guests could be heard chanting through the hotel because their hype squad was on point!!

Plan an epic dip or photo op moment for your photographer to capture that one final epic shot surrounded by your friends and family!

How I prioritize my client’s experience…
I listen to them. I make notes through the planning process of small and simple touches that create lasting moments that I can bring to them on wedding day.
For Leigh and Ryan it was this statement nautical chic head table. They had gone back and forth over adding these charger plates. Ultimately I knew adding them would make them thrilled and it was an honor to surprise them and bring that special touch to their day.
For past clients it has looked like Tea Towels for wait staff with custom monograms, special napkins for welcome reception that would set the tone just right, a custom champagne bottle for their big champagne tower moment.
I believe in creating these special touches for my clients where possible.

Leigh’s family is from Scotland, with several of their guests flying in from Scotland for the wedding, so it was important that they have their traditional ceremony exit.

Why is it so important to truly find the right vendors and vendor partners?

Unfortunately, there was a small hurricane in the Gulf during Leigh and Ryan’s wedding weekend causing some major rain and weather problems.

We were working up to the minute to try to make their outdoor ceremony happened, but as we saw in the radar things weren’t clearing out a snap decision was made.

The team from Lakehouse by Watercolor and Fishers Flowers didn’t even hesitate as we all jumped in to make the adjustment happen seamlessly and without a guest even knowing!

Their gorgeous ceremony was held inside the boathouse, and we love how it made the acoustics of their Scottish bagpiper really pronounced!

It rained on the bride’s wedding day!!

But there was still all smiles around as our team took care of placing a rain call, shifting the ceremony inside, adjusting the cocktail hour timing, and ensuring there were umbrellas at the ready to es**rt guests to the ceremony.

To those new here, welcome! And to those who have been here a while, welcome as well!

So much has changed over these past few years so I thought a reintroduction would be in order!

Hi there, I'm Rae! I'm the owner of Rae Nicole Events. I have been in the Central Florida wedding and event industry for over 13 years, and had my company (through many evolutions!) for almost 10. A little over five months ago I had my son and it’s been an incredible time taking my maternity leave and now easing back into weddings and working with my clients again on our upcoming Fall and Spring season weddings.

It’s been such a fun 10 year journey of owning this business and watching the evolution of it as it’s continued to grow! What started as a small DIY wedding company has now evolved into a specialized boutique planning and design firm with weddings and events all over the globe.

The brand has also evolved quite a bit into a full service planning brand offering planning and design for all events leading up to and including wedding day with a specialization in Destination for our clients.

We also have our wedding management teams running our venue partnership weddings locally. This may be one of my favorite spaces as I get to bring my knowledge and experience to the up and coming aspiring wedding planners as they gain hands on education and learn to take a leadership role running our wedding days.

Alongside this I am the owner of Ever, Rae Coaching. A coaching platform specifically designed with women and women business owners in mind.

I’m incredibly grateful to the last several years, and am grateful for even more to come! To those who have been following along the journey so far, thank you! And to those new here, welcome!

We are in the process of onboarding new clients, and it got me thinking.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day doesn’t lie in the hustle and bustle, the music, the dancing.

Those are all great! But my favorite parts lie in the quiet, barely noticeable moments.

The crinkle of eyes at a toast, the gentle hand holding, the endearing smiles, the heart warming love.

It’s in these special moments that I remember why I love what I do, and who I do it for.

If you desire to create a better reception experience, I have one big recommendation!
Functional and flowing floorplans! You’ll want to create a floorplan with guest experience and good energy in mind, as well as functionality.
If your guests feel like they’re on top of each other and there isn’t space to flow, they will feel uncomfortable and uneasy during dinner. On the other hand, if the floorplan is too spaced out and guests feel to distanced from one another, they can feel isolated from other guests and the event.
We design our floorplans with uniqueness and functionality in mind to create the best guest experience during your reception!

One of my favorite parts of working with incredible vendor partners is pulling gorgeous visions together for our clients.

I mentioned to the ladies at Velvet and Twine that I wanted to pull in the clients love for the colors green and lilac in really elegant and tasteful ways and we discovered this beautiful blend of varying color shades of lilacs and purples, with the candles adding the perfect touch of green, sourced from the V&T team!

Grooms choice! We always start with the groom. What do you WANT to wear on your wedding day? We want you to feel just as stunning and confident as your partner, and that starts with you wearing what you see yourself in.
