BGCP Comic Con Christmas Pop up Shop 🎄

We've finished up our 43 comic con run this year and we're opening up a shop for 6 weeks in EK, East Kilbride 🎅

We'll be opened Thursday to Sunday from 23rd November to 31st December

We'll have our very best traders selling Action Figures, Comics, Mystery Boxes, Stocking Fillers, Trading Cards, Dice, Tumblers, Art and much more

We'll have special appearances from Bluey, Sonic, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Master Chief and Iron Man each Saturday and Sunday

Our shop is located right next to the giant Christmas Tree in Centre West (two shops up from HMV)

Thank you to everyone who attended our first Edinburgh Comic Con at St. James Quarter.

It was a stressful event to organise due to the logistics of transporting a comic con to the basement Car Park but I think we pulled it off.

Thanks to all the attendees, staff, traders, cosplayers, guests, Ghostbusters of Glasgow and the Batmobile team for making the event possible.

Sheikh Islam, better known as The Art of Fish will be at Edinburgh Comic Con this Saturday and Sunday

Fish has worked on various licensed card sets for TOPPS, including Lucasfilm approved Star Wars artwork so be sure to check out his table when you get the chance and see what's on sale.

Jim Alexander of Planet Jimbot will be joining us at Edinburgh Comic Con, Jim has written for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Darkhorse, 2000 AD and for Cartoon Network.

Jim also runs his own comic label Planet Jimbot which has produced Amongst the Stars (drawn by Mike Perkins), Wolf Country (drawn by Luke Cooper), the anthology Amazing & Fantastic Tales, GoodCopBadCop and sequel GoodCop.

The Batmobile isn't the only car on show this weekend in Edinburgh!The Ghostbusters of Glasgow are heading into St James Quarter to clear the place of spooks, spectres and ghosts before the mall opens for BGCP Comic Con Edinburgh! We will have both Ecto-X & Ecto-Z on site for all your photos, merchandise for sale, some very special raffle prizes AND ALL PROFITS as always go to good causes!

Strap on a proton pack and come join us this weekend 10-5.

We're excited to have Monty Nero join us at Edinburgh Comic Con this Saturday

Nero writes Games, screenplays, radio plays, and novels but you're likely to know him for his work with Marvel Comics, Titan Comics and Vertigo Comics.

He has written for the Hulk and The X-Men but we love his hit creator-owned comic book series Death Sentence Comic and Hallow Monsters (both superb if you haven't read them yet)

Come meet Monty and buy some of his books or have him sketch you as an Anime character.

Etienne Kubwabo (KE Comics) is coming to Edinburgh Comic Con with his comic BEATS OF WAR.

"An alien planet ravaged by robot invaders. A city on Earth plagued by crime. Their hope: a hero from beyond the stars."

DJ E.T is a Scottish superhero appearing in the British comic book 'Beats of War'.

The character comes from a vibe-less, music-less plane. Luckily, DJ E.T. found his pulse in music from planet earth.

E.T is currently experimenting with different sounds and vibrations to fight crime in his new home town, Glasgow, Scotland.

Beats of War Issues 1 - 3 will be on sale.

EDINBURGH COMIC CON AT St James Quarter

Sci-fi fans in Edinburgh are in for a treat as Comic Con is headed to St James Quarter for a free two-day event on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of May.

Kicking off from 10am on the Saturday, the B3 car park will be transformed into a hub of activity, courtesy of the Big Glasgow Comic Page. The event will take over the entire St James Quarter car park on Level B3 and will feature everything from comic book and memorabilia sellers and workshops to props and gaming.

A family-friendly event, guests of all ages will be able to take part in a cosplay contest and browse a wide variety of toys and crafts on offer. Comic book fans will also be able to meet their heroes, as stars of the big screen come to life with special meet and greets with the nation’s favourite superheroes and villains.

With a stellar line-up of activities, this is set to be the biggest comic con event the city has ever seen and promises to be a fun-filled weekend for all. For more information and tickets, you can visit the BGCP Comic Con event page.

Edinburgh Comic Con is postponed

The event will no longer be happening this weekend, due to the interest we've received we have decided to postpone it. We are looking to add more attractions and traders to make the event as big as we possibly can.

Our Comic and Toy Winter Market returns to Waverley Market, Edinburgh this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

You'll be able to find traders such as AAA Comics, HeDan Comics, Lucy Bruscaglia Art, Castle Comics UK, Alberto S. Ballesteros Illustration, ChaosCurios and more selling everything from Comic Books, Graphic Novels, 1st Appearance books, Framed Art, Original Art, Pokemon cards, T-Shirts, Action figures and more.

Open from 10am to 4pm and right next to flying tiger.
