Online ticket draw entry! 🙌🏻

£5 a ticket to enter the draw to win the first ticket to the revival of Drams in the Field Music Festival, 5th of July 2025 🧡

We have had a lot of interest from folk further afield from Glenelg who can't get to Glenelg Shop about wanting to enter the draw for the first ticket. For the next week only we will be accepting online payments for entry to the raffle - online payments will end on 19th of December. Comment below "entry" and Lucy Matheson Smith will message you details for online payment.

FESTIVAL DATE ANNOUNCEMENT

We plan to hold the return of Drams in the Field Music Festival on Saturday the 5th of July 2025!

We have been beavering away behind the scenes and we are so excited to finally make this announcement - it's all getting very real!

We plan to have the main day on the Saturday on the field, there will be a family fun day followed by some very exciting bands at night 😍

We are also planning a wee "Drams Fringe" on the days running up to the festival with some exciting wee events all around our brilliant community to get you all in the festival mood!

Many more exciting announcements to be made over the next week or so, keep your eyes peeled for more information 👀 and please like and share so that we can spread the news!

Drams in the Field received a very generous donation of £576 from the Glenelg Camera Collective Community Calender Project. Glenelg Camera Collective

We are delighted to have received this and thank those involved with the development of the Glenelg calendar.

This money will be used to pay for four of the Portaloos at the festival next year.

The 2025 calenders are on sale in the The Glenelg Shop, the Glenelg Inn and the Shore Station

We are selling our Drams in the Field t-shirts which would make a fantastic Christmas present.

What an absolutely beautiful evening we had tonight! 😍

Thank you to everyone who came along and created such a lovely, sociable and friendly vibe in our fantastic community hall. Thank you so much to Scott and Joss, our chefs for the evening, who cooked up a storm of culinary delights! And thank you so much to everyone who chipped in to help with the cleaning up at the end, it is always much appreciated 👍🏻

We think we have raised somewhere in the region of £500 tonight so that is really helpful towards the costs of the festival startup.

We have also begun our raffle that will run throughout December for THE FIRST TICKET OF THE REVIVAL OF DRAMS IN THE FIELD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2025! Tickets are £5 and will be sold locally, more on this to come.

Now here's a man who's chuffed with his spice mix 🌶️

We have been busy tonight in the kitchen with Scott preparing curries for tomorrow night! There were some absolutely mouthwatering fragrances coming from the kitchen, so for all of you lucky people that managed to reserve a space - prepare your taste buds for a sensational night 😍

As always, thank you so much to and all of the other helpers who always show up and volunteer their time for free for our fundraising. We are so, so lucky to live in such a lovely, caring, thriving community 👏🏻

See you tomorrow night! 🌶️🫚🔥

P.s. If you can't for any reason make it along to the curry night and you have a booking, please let us know as there's a good few folk who want to come but missed out due to us being fully booked. Thanks in advance!
