2025 Brides it’s less than 1 year till your wedding season begins!!💍🥂

Here is a quick list of things to get done!

1. Book your venue💒. Venues (especially popular ones) book up very quickly. Get that booked first before anything else! No venue, no wedding!

2. Book your photographer 📸. 1yr out out is a good timeframe to get your photographer booked. This will also help you decide on the vibe of your day. Are you booking a story teller with a very cinematic informal style, or a classic light and airy photographer that takes more formal portraits? Their style will greatly impact how your floral and decor might look.

3. Book your florist🌸. 1yr-8mo out is a great timeframe to get your florist booked. This will help you get a total vision for your day! Deciding the vibe, colors, and style of your floral and decor will impact what invitations you choose, your bridesmaids dresses, place settings style, and so much more. You can also find out what they will provide and what you need to provide as far as decor. Every florist is different.

4. Book your wedding coordinator 🗓️. If you are booking an actual planner that will help bring your entire wedding to fruition this is the first person you should book after your venue!! If you are only booking a day of coordinator that will hop in the month of your wedding to assist with making things run smoothly, 1yr-7mo out is a good timeframe. They will help with any logistics you might need to iron out as well as help you with a timeline to help keep you organized through the planning process.

5. Book your DJ🎧, cake 🎂 , and rentals 🍽️. 1yr-6mo out is a good timeline for booking these vendors. If you have a popular date, need a tent, or want a very specific vendor the further out the better. These vendors will help you iron out some small details with timing that get forgotten in the planning process so you do not want to wait till the last minute to book them.

As a florist, there is just something about creating for people you know. It means a little more and you put a little extra love into it.

I’ve been friends with Jordan and Erin for years. To be fair the first year I thought Jordan had an imaginary girlfriend because she wasn’t ever able to be at the events I was at 😂😂 So while she is an absolute dream girl, I was happy to find out she is in fact real! 🤣

I have watched their love grow and am so lucky I was able to be such a big part of their day as their florist and coordinator🩷 Can’t wait to see where life takes you guys! Have a wonderful honeymoon!!

Hi I’m Molly and I own Molly & Clover! 👋🏻

It’s been a while, so let me reintroduce myself!

I have been in the event industry for over a decade. I started working for a catering company at 17, at 19 I got a summer job designing a floral showroom with my mom, by 23 or 24 I was lead florist of a high end event company, and at 26 I started by business as a wedding florist and day of coordinator. Now at 29 I am starting my 5th year of business!

I grew up around art in all forms, so being creative has always been my calling. Since the beginning of kindergarten my report cards always mentioned something about me being “Strong willed”, “A Leader”, “Headstrong”, and “Blunt”…So starting a business where all those characteristics are needed, seemed only fitting! Between my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, and my DNA, it was destiny 🌷🌸

This business has allowed me to meet so many incredible people and form some amazing relationships with my clients as well as my vendor friends. I am so lucky to have a career that is so rewarding.

My clients are my first priority. Making sure you can sit back and relax on your wedding day is always the number one goal we discuss in our meetings. You deserve a florist you can trust with your vision, and a coordinator who can make decisions with your best interest in mind!

Bud vases are always my number one go to for the bride that wants to make an impact without large arrangements. There are endless configurations of vases and decor to fit your vibe, and they can be filled with just about anything!

Go minimal with just a few stems and clear glass accents, or go eclectic by mixing styles of vases and decor… the options are never ending!

Still not over this wedding 😍

Trying to figure out how you want to set up your head table? My absolute favorite is a kings table, as shown in the second picture.

The best aspect of this design is that your bridal party can actually talk with each other! When everyone is in a line they can only talk to the person next to them.

It’s also a wonderful design for couples that don’t like being the center of attention. You are still the focal point, but you’re surrounded by your closest friends to make it less uncomfortable.

You can put this design front and center, or you can build guest tables around it for a more integrated floor plan.

The possibilities are endless!

I’ve said it 100 times and I’ll say it 100 more… GO BOLD!!

Have you ever looked back at your parents, or grandparents wedding photos and thought, “Wow I love their flowers I want that exact wedding!”… probably not. Most likely every aspect of their wedding is now out of style. From the poofy sleeves, over the top lace appliqués, and cascade silk bouquets made in a foam holder, there is nothing “timeless” about it.

So why not go bold?? Choose colors you love! Let your florist have fun with unique colors and textures! In 15 years your wedding will be out of style, so do what you love now!

LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION FOR 9/16/23!!! Please share! ❤️

I just had a couple cancel their wedding with about a month notice. I would LOVE to get something booked!! Luckily I have nothing the next 2 weeks so I have lots of Availability for meetings!!

If you book your entire wedding with me I will provide all boutonnières and corsages free of charge. Maybe you thought you could do it all yourself but you’ve changed your mind? Maybe you have extra room in your budget? Maybe you are planning a quick wedding and everyone else is booked? I can help! I can provide all floral as well as decor, candles, arches, etc!

I no longer offer this, but I am also willing to book bouquets and other personal floral only!! So if you have a bride only needing personal floral send them my way!

I just had a bride ask me “Is bridal party drama normal??”… after being involved in hundreds of weddings my answer was “If you don’t have family/bridal party drama it’s not a wedding” 😂

Weddings bring out a lot of emotions in people and unfortunately most people don’t have good coping skills, so they take it out on others. Everyone wants to prove they love you most, people want to live their wedding dreams through your wedding, and the people that got married for $1,000 in 1978 are in absolute shock over the cost of literally everything causing a ton of stress.

This is why it is SO important to choose your bridal party with care! Here are reasons that do not entitle anyone to be in your bridal party:

1. You were in their wedding
2. They are family
3. They asked/ assumed they’d be in it
4. They will be mad if you don’t ask them

This is your day, and anyone that “will be mad” or cause problems if they aren’t involved is selfish. Choose people that have impacted your life AND RELATIONSHIP in a positive way. Choose people that you want to spend an entire day with! Choose people that you trust with tasks, people that support you, and people love you, not people that just want to be part of something and take pictures to prove it. You can still invite them to the wedding, and dance the night away together without dealing with drama for a year prior ✌🏼

My name is Molly Martin-Terry, I am the creative brain behind Molly and Clover.

With four years as a florist in both silk and fresh, and eight years in the wedding industry I have been a part of so many special moments. My favorite moments are those spent directly with the happy couple. Being able to see a bride light up when she is given her bouquet for the first time, or the look of excitement on a groom's face when I pin his boutonniere, are two of the most rewarding parts of my job.
