Listen to KGNU radio June 4th at noon!
One of our sponsors, KGNU Commuinity Radio, will do a show June 4th at noon. Host Dan Willging will play ROTR artists the 89’s, Lucy Moore and the Night Children, Antonio Lopez Band, Foggy Mountain Spaceship and Halden Wofford and the Hi*Beams. Eben Grace of the 89’s will be in studio to play live and Prayer Flag Andy Hiles will talk about the 5th annual Rail on the River.
Dan will also spin some songs old and new from Colorado artists Zephyr, Leftover Salmon, Rebecca Frazier, Greg Schochet & Little America as well as many more. Dan will have some additional tasty treats for your ears so please tune in. Should be a good show. . . thank you!

It's gonna get HOT in North Longmont this Wednesday 5/15!
Mad Dog Blues 5-piece blues band at Supper Songs.
To be successful for the band, a 5-piece requires a good crowd to be successful - even on a Wednesday!
I GUARANTEE you will be blown away!
Showing up is a vote for the blues and gives me the confidence I need to book bigger bands for Supper Songs! This is OUTDOORS at Shelley's - we've got a good crowd, but room for lots more! Please help spread the word!
We'd like to see 60+! Can you help get this out there? Dragging a couple friends to come with is the BEST way to support the event. If you can throw $20 instead of 10, that is also HUGE in making it a success and you know 100% goes to the band! There is no better way to directly support an artist and have ALL your money go to them!

International recording artist, Mad Dog Friedman, harmonica player, musical innovator and founder of many popular Colorado blues acts over the years including King Comfort, Harmonica Loowinski, Papa Juke, the Mojo Medicine Show & Blue Lightning, has put together an acoustic blues jam band with a unique blues style indigenous to Colorado in the 21st Century while still honoring his blues roots. We call this music Colorado Country Blues because it combines the “Colorado Sound” (jam grass) with traditional rural blues. The result is Mad Dog Blues, a coalition of top-notch, veteran musicians dedicated to exploring this new sound in both their songwriting and performances. Along with Mad Dog Friedman on harmonica, Mad Dog Blues (5 piece band) includes Jeff "Bone Head " Becker (Hippie Buckaroos) on mandolin, Clark "The Champ" Chanslor (White Water Ramble) on stand-up bass, Sean "Rocket" Bennight (from St. Louis) on acoustic guitar and Mark "Kaz" Kaczorowski (Blues on the Lamb) on slide and acoustic guitar. We hope you enjoy our original “Colorado Country Blues” sound, a unique fusion of delta blues, bluegrass, honky-tonk, hokum and acoustic jam music.
