When you’ve married over 1,100 couples, it’s not hard to notice that every couple is SO different. Here’s the biggest differences I’ve noticed:
-Some couples are very formal in their attire, and may go all out on little details/accessories. Others are less formal, or perhaps untraditional.
-Some couples want to meet with me, or have 3 phone calls prior to the wedding (which is fine!), and others are like “we’re good, we’ll see you at wedding day.
-Some couples are super particular about the ceremony wording and some say it’s not that important to them as long as I honor their religious preferences and they say “I do.”
-Some couples have 250 guests, some prefer a microwedding with only their immediate family/closest friends, and some elope in true fashion!
-Some are guest focused and want to make sure they impress their guests with the ceremony, and others are only concerned with what makes them happy.
-Some want a 5 minute quick ceremony, and some want something much longer, perhaps involving things like a sand blending, ring warming, or unity candle.
The great thing about YOUR wedding is that there’s no right or wrong way to think or feel. Guests will remember the food, the music, and if they had to wait 30 minutes in line to get a drink. So for all the rest, do whatcha like!
