Lunarfest is Connecticut’s largest annual Lunar New Year celebration. Featuring a traditional lion dance troupe, local artists, and local organizations, the annual festivities are full of learning, culture, arts, and fun. In 2021, Lunarfest went fully virtual, but we are back in person.

For the first time in over a year, I was able to teach puppet making in person! 75 children ages 4-7 over the course of 6 mini workshops. We made flower puppets that reached towards the sun and worked on character development and movement techniques while each had a turn behind the proscenium!
