Earlier this year, Rosey and I set out on turning a fun hobby into a little business. Boy, did you guys ever respond! Much more than I ever thought would happen! Unfortunately, this year has brought some odd health challenges and diagnoses for me, some of which are still pending testing as we try and track down answers. We have decided to close our flower business and pivot to a new home-based focus that is more in line with my current physical abilities. It is also a business that I can supervise when necessary instead of relying totally on my abilities which is what the flowers required. I wanted to thank you SO much for your love, support, vase donations, and every bouquet order! We truly have felt the love. We are SO excited to start putting our new product out and we hope you love it as much as we do! Please stay tuned as more info will be coming SOON!!! We have been working hard as a family behind the scenes lately in order to launch our new endeavor; we can’t wait to share it with you! Another wedding weekend! The beautiful bride requested white roses, white flowers, and lots of greens! She also had a fun request - to incorporate the fabric from her Mom’s wedding dress into the floral design. Mom gave me permission to cut up her dress (eeekkkk!!) and be creative! Not only did the lace from that special dress adorn all of the centerpieces and isle arrangements, it was around the bride and bridesmaids flowers (I just realized I didn’t take any pics of those! Darn it!). The best part was being able to incorporate that lace along the arch. So this lovely bride was greeted by her Mama’s lace!

We worked with green and white this week! These colors are outside my comfort zone as I am really drawn to pops of color and more feminine designs. Trying to push myself and appreciate the beauty in ALL colors! I loved these pieces that went out!

Just a heads up-

If you need anything delivered on Wednesday, April 28, I’ll need to know the day before so I can plan delivery! Normally I can accommodate same day orders AND deliveries without a problem, but this Wednesday I’m off at 11:30 for a fun girls day with my older daughter. It’s been planned for quite a while now and we just can’t wait!

Today we had a very special order. The customer requested the arrangement be completely done by Miss Rosey herself...100% creative control. Rosey was SO PROUD of herself. It was adorable!! She did everything from start to finish; she chose the vase and prepared it. She chose the flowers and cut each one. We did use an easy arranger helper, but hey, you gotta start somewhere!! She was so excited to deliver this and got the best tip ever....a small unicorn piñata filled with candy! The customer also asked Rosey to tell her what makes her happy. Rosey wrote, “Flowers make me happy” on the cute card with a hydrangea on it. This has been a simply perfect week at Rosey’s Posies. So thankful for all of you!

Another busy day here at Rosey’s Posies! Today we sent happy birthday flowers, we celebrated Administrative Professional Day by honoring all of our favorite gals at the Kelso Police Department, we sent some just because flowers, and we sent some cheer! You’ll see this pic below of me and my sidekick, Miss Rosey herself! Over the next few months, my older daughter Hailey is going to try her hand at designing with us. Don’t worry....we bought her a matching apron, too! We love and are so appreciative of all of your support as we jump into this little business with both feet!

Very special delivery going out today to a special lady; My Mom! Today my Mom celebrates her 28th year with the Kelso Police Department. My brother was in kindergarten when she started. My brother is now the one with a kindergartener! I remember when she took the call that she got the job and how much this job meant to our family. My brother and his family and my family couldn’t let the day pass without sending some Kelso blue and yellow flowers to her desk at KPD! We love you, Mom, and are so proud of all of your work accomplishments. Forever backing the blue!!
