The belly is the seat of our emotions. For women it is where the womb is housed. For everyone, it is where our Sacral Chakra is housed. It is a very sacred space.
It is good to remember that it is an honor to touch another person's sacred space and to have respect for all that it contains on the physical level as well as the psychic.
By establishing pure connection with this area, a lot can be healed.

Ashwini is a mother of two grown up kids. Her life revolves around her husband, children and the school she works in.
She has no previous experience of any waterwork and doesn't know how to swim. So at first she was a bit apprehensive.
It was such a pleasure to see her slowly relax, trust, and let go. In the end she was enjoying the session like a child 🙂.
It is so important for us women to take care of ourselves. In our everyday lives of taking care of others we so often forget that.

Watsu means Water Shiatsu, and is a gentle form of body therapy one to one and performed in warm water. This form of bodywork combines elements of massage, joint mobilization, shiatsu, muscle stretching, and dance, and is based on the principles of Zen Shiatsu.
