Every once in a while, I scroll through my photos and get hit with the memories of why this journey matters so much. These pictures? It’s from OBMco’s second event—a day filled with joy, connection, and the magic of a community coming together to celebrate their heritage and each other.

For me, it was more than just a moment of pride—it was a full-circle experience. My very first event as a vendor was at Oakland Heritage Day in the early 2000’s, where I joined my great friend, who made the most amazing candles, to help. That day sparked something in me and inspired the path I’m on now.

These aren’t just markets; they’re spaces where dreams grow, businesses shine, and relationships are built. 💛
