Good Evening to all our spooks, ghouls, vampires and zombies. We have some Big Changes that have happen to SeaHaunt 2025, we had to change Cruise Lines and with that Departure Port.

With this change of ports unfortunately Alex Vincent CANCELED due to the change of ports, he was really looking forward to Nola.

On SeaHaunt 2024: We had some communication problems from the land based groups department and Carnival Liberty. This lack of communication caused one of our patrons/cosplayers to feel racially profiled for his cosplay of a Voodoo Witchdoctor on board. It was stated that it alters your appearance and you must remove it now. Our patron complied as did all the other cosplayers that night out of respect for their friend. After this problem our group seem to warrant a security officer to be present at anything we did publicly. To the point of one standing creepily at the pool watching us swim or in the hot tub in the adult only pool area in the aft of the boat. I called for time to prep for dinner and as I saw all the our patrons to the elevators; I stopped and looked at the chief security officer and said they are good people and we are here to have some fun and brighten a few lives around us with cosplay at dinner. That only helped slightly but, at least they were not right on top of the group being a creepy carl any more, they gave us more space.

We thought things were okay when we returned to port and then during the end of May they took all our rooms away from us. We had to call the Groups department and fight to get them back even with $5000 Deposit on the cabins but, we were not alone in this problem. We were put on notice and pushed to fill the rooms, we just finished SeaHaunt 2024 and had begun active marketing a few months prior but were lacking updated content.

Mid June things got scary and we reached out to other cruise lines and gave full disclosure of our event like always, one turned us down and the other welcomed us.

We have been welcomed with open arms to Margaritaville at Sea, The Islander out of the Port of Tampa in Florida. Thank you to the Groups team of Gregory Fornadel & Yuliana Tapias. We have the same itinerary Cozumel & Progresso on a 5 day cruise, just leaving 1 day earlier on Sunday, Jan 5th, 2025.

This change is for the positive for production of SeaHaunt 2025.
This change does alter prices slightly but this increase covers the Crew Appreciation/Gratuities. The increase for those patrons already booked on SeaHaunt will see a slight change of $25-75 per cabin increase for most. I will be reaching out to review the changes during this week.

Yes to our new patrons the discount codes from all celebrities are still usable even if the Celebrity Canceled!

Part 2 of our revamped FAQ. These questions revolve around our signature collection.

Q: Is travel insurance required?

A: No, but we do highly recommend travel insurance. Faye Travel Insurance is our preferred provider. We can assist you with Faye's quote and the many options available including cancel for any reason.

Q: Why are your signature brand cruises priced higher than the cruise line's website?

A: Simple answer. All our Signature Brand cruises are a premium event. A regular cruise advertised by many agents and the cruise lines themselves rarely include port fees and rates until final check out at reservation. Our websites and pricing ALWAYS include port fees and taxes up front. Our prices ALWAYS include our convention event tickets. Our pricing is upfront with no hidden costs. Gratuities are added on by cruise lines on the last day of the cruise and vary by voyage.

Q: My friend is a travel agent, can I reserve through them?

A: Yes, but only if the agent is a licensed affiliate of Interrobang Compass. They are more than welcome to enquire on how to become a licensed affiliate. See also reserving through the cruise line.

Q: I recieved a special offer from the cruiseline, can I use this offer on one of your cruises?

A: Those special offers are amazing! Unfortunately, the cruiseline will not let us use those special offers in our events. Occasionally, we do see offers that are allowed. Rarely are casino, spa or drink offers permitted. However, we can still act as your travel agent and utilize those offers on other sailings.

Q: Can I reserve directly through the cruise line?

A: You can, but you will NOT be part of, invited to or permitted at any of our exclusive events. We cannot sell you just an event pass or ticket. This is STRICTLY prohibited by the cruise line.

We are preparing to update our FAQ's. Today we are going to address a couple on FB

Q: Why are your cruises scheduled so far in advance?

A: Interrobang Compass announces cruises 12-14 months in advance and in a few cases 14-16 months in advance. We do this because of internal planning cycles and the pricing structures of cruises by the cruiselines in general. The farther out we plan, the more cabins we can secure at better prices, keeping your final cost lower.

Q: Your company is always pushing reservations 8-12 months in advance. Why do you do this? I cannot plan that far in advance.

A: There are many reasons. Our contracts require large ballon payments that Interrobang must make to stay on track with cruise lines, suppliers and celeb guests. Early payments keeps everyone happy.

We also realize that the pricing is higher than many cruises and most of our passengers are on a payment plan. The earlier you reserve, the lower the payments. There is always a final payment deadline and it can range from 60-120 days prior to the sail date

An important reason is also, planning. It takes months to plan our unique immersive experiences and we need to know several months in advance how many passengers we have.

Q: I cannot plan my vacation that far in advance due to work or the unknown. What happens if I cancel?

A: No one likes to cancel. Sometimes life happens and a person feels they must cancel their plans. Every cancelation incurs some type of cost and expense to the vendor whether it be cruise line, airline, hotel or even Interrobang. Due to these growing costs, Interrobang did go to a 100% cancallation penalty 14 days after reservation which is in concordance with several of our contracts and our preferred travel insurance provider, Faye.

Should you cancel, your travel insurance may cover your losses.
