"As an owner, lover and biggest admirer of the Pitbull breed, I will advise you from the bottom of my heart that Pitbull are not child friendly, they get anxiety and frustrated when they see kids as it appears the height of children makes them to react and think it is other dogs.

Anyone who is claiming that pit bulls are just like any other dogs and pose no increased risk to children is completely wrong. This unsupported claim is part of what is getting so many innocent children mauled or even killed by these dogs.

They are the best for adults as they are able to recognise them as their masters but they are easily intimidated by your height if you are a short person.

If well trained, Pitbull can be your best security as it is fast and quick to make a decision to protect you. But please do not leave your dogs with your children nor let children play outside without your presence.
