Hi all! First and foremost, thank you so much for viewing our FB page and getting to know a little more about us! ChamberlainWeddingsXO is an independently owned and operated company. My name is Taylor Chamberlain, and I decided to create my own business in 2020 and becoming a wedding coordinator for all my brides around DFW. As a former bride myself I know the challenges that come with planning your own wedding. I decided that I didn’t want to spend the extra money on hiring a wedding coordinator, and that was a HUGE mistake. Unfortunately many weddings face last minute changes, and mine definitely did! My beautiful dream outside wedding had to change last minute to indoors, I had to ask two of my friends to fill in as bridesmaids last minute, and add in a color to my bridesmaid dresses since the original color was a special order and they could not get it here in 1 month! YIKES right?? It was a tad bit stressful, and I didn’t have anyone to lean on other than friends and family reassuring me it will be ok. Overall my entire wedding turned out beautiful, and I was thrilled with every aspect of it! However, the challenges I faced leading up to it was anything but easy, and although I had friends and family to lean on, I felt as if I needed someone with experience and knowledge on how to handle these last minute changes! Then, when I really realized I need a wedding coordinator most, was when wedding week had arrived! I ran like a crazy woman all around town in hopes that I had everything I needed! Then, rehearsal day came, and that day was HECTIC. I had a vision for when my special day came, and I thought I could handle everything alone, but I was totally wrong. I didn’t realize how many times we truly needed to run through the wedding timeline on rehearsal day to ensure everyone was spot on, walks were on beat, and the flower girl & ring bearer knew where to stand. I wasn’t sure how to line them up, when to tell them to walk, who was going to tell them to walk, etc.. (luckily my amazing aunt stepped in to help out) At that moment I then thought, UGH I should have hired a wedding coordinator. Day of my wedding I was so anxious on how things were going to go, and how they were going to look, that I was constantly out of my bridal suite telling people where to put things and how I wanted it to look, and in that moment, I thought to myself AGAIN, UGH I wish I would have hired a wedding coordinator. Again, all in all my wedding turned out beautiful, however I know that a lot of stress could have been avoided, and that is ultimately what I want to help my brides with! I want to plan their special day exactly how they want it, and let them sit back, relax, sip champagne, and be totally stress free!! I know wedding coordinators can be expensive, and a wedding total is pricey, therefore, I want to offer great & competitive pricing for my services from beginning to end, and include wedding decor with that pricing if the bride chooses they would like to borrow it!
