We hope you and your loved ones safe. It’s been almost 9 years since we moved here, attracted by the mountains and the close-knit community. The past two weeks have been a stark reminder of how crucial a supportive community is. Despite recent challenges, we are all very fortunate to live here. To our first responders, city officials, visiting linesmen, and Hendersonville neighbors who have been working tirelessly to help restore and keep our community safe, we extend a heartfelt thank you. We understand that this will be an ongoing process.
Due to the loss of electricity in Laurel Park, we have been closed for almost two weeks. The effort to restore power required Daniel Drive to be blocked for several days. Now that power and water have been restored, we are happy to reopen with one caveat. Internet service in our area is still unavailable. Since we can’t answer the phone or process credit cards, we truly appreciate cash or personal checks for now.
