Are you team first look or no first look??

Here are a few benefits of doing a first look :

🌟 plenty of time to get pictures as a couple before the ceremony
🌟 helps your timeline flow a bit better
🌟 more time with your friends and family between the ceremony and reception

Although we love a first look, we equally love that moment when the groom sees his bride at the end of the aisle for the first time 🥰

We’ve personally used twice and have had the best experience. I sent them my wishlist and they sent me a few options and the rest was taken care of! Now, where’s my poolside margarita?

Last week we talked seating charts, now let’s talk place settings! Whether you’re having a plated meal or buffet style, we believe there’s room for a place setting at both! Instead of displaying the menu, add in a note to your guests instead. Either way, you can really elevate your table scape with something like this! We love these that did for the event last month!

You get to thank your guests for coming to your wedding with FOOD! Whether it’s a buffet, plated meal, or food truck, they’ll appreciate a meal by the end of the night. can do this all for you! Coming from two foodies themselves, you’ll want to try them out! We sampled their stuffed mushrooms, wonton tacos, chicken skewers annndddd YUM!! Get creative with your menu, it’s YOUR day!

I do💍 and not to do: DO research and use Instagram to your advantage when looking and before you book your florist! You can find so many talented gals on this platform! If anything you can get all the ~inspo~ when creating your vision for your perfect day. A talented florist can really elevate your look and feel. DO NOT forget to count your photographer, videographer, band, and any other people helping with your wedding in the head count for food and drinks! This is any easy one to overlook when you are turning in your numbers. These people want to eat too after a busy day!

Why would I need a day of wedding coordinator you may ask? Let me tell you! You don’t want the hassle of wrangling up your family when it’s time for pictures. You don’t want the caterer to call you when they are stuck in traffic and going to be 45 minutes late. You don’t want to tell the DJ when you think it’s time to start transitioning to toasts. You don’t want to line up your family and friends when it’s time for your send off. The HuCo team can do all this and more for you! Girl, book that day of coordinator. You won’t regret it!

Hi, future brides! My name is Makenzie Huston, the “Hu” in HuCo events. I moved from Texas to Kansas City a few years ago where I met my husband, Sam. We wanted a short engagement and pulled together a wedding in 5 short months! I can personally say, the best decision I made was to hire a day of wedding coordinator (well besides marrying my husband of course 😉)! But seriously, she was the BOMB!
