Today was a great day working on the trailer! I am struggling with waterproofing and rust spots coming through the paint, so today I sanded and sanded and sanded some more. I am going to go in the trailer tomorrow in the rain to see where it is leaking. I managed to get the entire subfloor cut and installed today! I also cut all the steel patches so they are ready when I get help from a welder. Plus, we were able to revive the van! Slow but surely, I am making progress on the Mobile Bar!

What a day! Since the sun was out and weather was nice, I was going to start painting the trailer. After the first trip to Home Depot, I caulked the roof and tried to replace the missing rivets. The challenge though was every time I put weight on the top of the trailer, the roof would bow in and create more gaps. Plus, the rivets aren't big enough. I know, the caulking does not look pretty right now. I will have to attempt that again. I then decided to work on the floor. I went to Home Depot again and bought angle supports. I really wanted them welded in, but I don't have a welder so I just screwed them to existing supports. Aside from twisting my wrist, that part of the day went well. Honestly, I probably didn't need to add more supports, but better safe than sorry. Plus, I refuse to let my lack of knowledge and lack of tools delay me and I don't have the time to wait for help. My third trip to Home Depot was going to be for the plywood floor, but the van was dead and I was unable to jump start it. Yay! Going with the flow, my third trip was now for more Bondo and more rust reformer. I think I have all the holes filled now. I just need to sand them down. I would love this project to progress a little faster, but I am doing everything on my own and learning as I go. This trailer conversion will not be perfect. But it will be perfect for me!

A lot of people suggested painting the trailer to match my logo, but I want something a bit darker. What are your thoughts? Royal Blue or Navy Blue?

Advice for anyone thinking of starting a business....You must have the "I will figure it out mentality!" If every little thing stops you, don't become a business owner. For me, this trailer was a huge risk. Event Rentals is easy. Converting a trailer is way outside my skillset. But I am trying.

We are now offering the game Snookball as a rental! Snookball is a super fun mash-up of the sport of soccer and the game of pool/billiards. Using the rules of pool/billiards, each player will take strategic shots to eliminate their balls from the table/field. However, instead of using pool balls and a cue/pool stick, they use their feet and soccer balls.

I was finally able to work on the horse trailer again! So far this week, I have finished gutting it, started repairing some of the holes with bondo, and sanded down the rust spots. Next up is welding support beams for the floor. Anyone have a welder and is available this week? Or should I buy a welder?😁🤷‍♂️ If anyone wants to help me with this project, let me know! We can learn together!

Thank you for a great rental season! Our last rental on our calendar for this year was today. We do accept bookings and provide rentals year round so don't be afraid to reach out throughout winter! Kris is taking a vacation now and has a lot of ideas for next season. He is also looking for a winter job if anyone has ideas. Thank you again for supporting us on this adventure!

Friday and Saturday were all games! We provided Giant games for an all school tailgate party hosted by De Pere High School Parent Club on Friday night. Then on Saturday, we provided Giant games and 9 hole mini golf for a Scouting event! Make your next event more fun by renting games!

Do you LOVE Halloween but don't have time to decorate your yard or have room to store all the supplies? Event Rentals By Kris will spook out your yard for $199. We have enough supplies for two yards. Each yard will include a big spider web, orange and/or purple string lights, front door/porch display, graveyard with "fence/chains," and several other items. Surprise your kids! We will decorate on or before Oct. 14th. and pick up everything a few days after Halloween. We also have a fog machine available to rent for the spooky season!
