Hannah + Bill’s reception was one of the most fun parties we’ve been part of to date. Was it their friends? Their style? The excellent food? Their DJ? (Shout out to for bringing the vibes) 🎶

I'm Megan Westers, founder and creative director at Shoreline Event Design. 👋 I started SED in 2019 as a side project. It was a pre-pandemic time - my husband worked nights in restaurants while I worked a day job. I had no kids and I had a desire to do something creative, fun and fulfilling with my talents in my spare time.

I had kicked around this idea for a while, but it was only after an unforgettable experience that I decided to take the plunge. (Ask me about the time where I began a day helping some friends cater and ended realizing I had coordinated and executed the entire event) 🤷‍♀️🤣

When the pandemic closed everything down, just four months after launching my business, I thought it would never work. A great time to start an events business, right?

Well, it ended up alright. Fast-forward five years and here we are - a full-service event planning and design company, serving fun-loving couples across the state of Michigan and beyond. 🥳

Hannah + Bill's ceremony took place at the stunning St. Paul's on the Lake on the most perfect autumn day. 🍂 Between the stunning backdrop of the gorgeous cathedral and this couple's classic, Black-tie style, this ceremony set the stage for the most elegant evening...

Little did I know how fun this crowd really was! The energy that Hannah + Bill's friends and family brought to their send-off at the church exit was when I knew this was going to be a night to remember. ✨
